3M Littmann Cardiology S.T.C. (Soft-Touch Chestpiece) Stethoscope, Navy Blue Tube, 27 inch, 4473

I bought this as an upgrade to my Littmann Classic II, since after 5 years it has stopped working and was well out of the warranty period. Working on an open heart unit, I wanted something of higher quality that would last me for a long time. This one totally blew my mind! I'm so happy with it! I am able to pick up very low pitched sounds, even a "trace" mitral regurgitation that I hadn't been able to hear with my old Littmann. With the Cardiology S.T.C., I heard it loud and clear! The tubing is not too long and I was happy to receive extra earpieces in the package. Very worth it if you're working in cardiology!

Excellent product. Great materials and very comfortable ear pieces. The sift touch chest piece works very well and amplifies the sounds well also

I've researched many stethoscopes because I have some hearing damage from my time in service. I finally decided on this one. The electronic ones were expensive and had hit and miss reviews. I made a great choice. I can hear much better than even a higher end standard stethescope. My only complaint is that is a bit shorter than the others. Other than that, I love it.

I decided to replace my cheap stethoscope with one that would pick up high and low pitched sounds without having to switch back and forth. This one fits the bill plus some! I hear sounds I've never been able to hear with my old stethoscope! The only problem I have is that I have to keep it close for fear that it will disappear if I take my eyes off of it! I will definitely be taking my S.T.C. in to be engraved!! If you're on the fence, I will say it is well worth the money and the benefit to your patients to be able to make competent and thorough assessments.

PROVIDES VERY CLEAR AND PRECISE HEART SOUNDS WHICH ARE EASIER TO HEAR THAN WITH A NORMAL STETHOSCOPE. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT

I can hear with this stethoscope much better than a MUCH older Littmann that I was using. It also happens to be very stylish and comfortable to use.

The blue colour is not that light in real life, is a bit darker actually.

Qualitativ sehr hochwertig, aber bei allem "Griffkomfort" ist das Bruststück dann doch sehr plump geraten. Im Endeffekt unhandlicher als die günstigeren Varianten, weshalb ich nächstes Mal diese wieder bevorzugen werde.

I was fortunate enough to obtain this steth when it was on offer and its pretty damn good. I work for the ambulance service and this gives me the ability to assess both breath and heart sounds in any type of weather or environment with very little outside interferance. Its production quality is second to none and its stands up to a battering on a day to day basis in my pocket in a range of different situations without any compromise in sound quality or build quality.For the price its probably more suited to less demanding purpose where its not being banged about or nealt on but otherwise i cant really fault it.If i had to raise a point with it, it would be the availability of spares for it. It took me a number of days to source a spare diaphragm and due to the shape they seem to be like hens teeth to get hold of but that is pretty much it!John
