TASTY
They are mostly crust but tasty anyway. I love the chocolate ones but also buy the lemon. Thanks

Good crust. Chocolate pie too sweet, their blackberry pies are better.
Short version: 3 stars for Blackberry +0.5 for good packaging, I'd eat another. 1.5 stars for Chocolate and that's entirely for the crust and packaging.Ordered chocolate pies & blackberry pies to pack for a family car trip. Rather expensive counting shipping (not Prime eligible). They were late, but not TOO late luckily; tracking data puts that on the postal service and the weather, not the seller. Stuff happens and the seller (B Direct) was prompt in replying and helpful.Taste tested both on arrival. Crusts were quite good in texture and taste, especially for something out of a box, no sogginess or staleness in the two I opened. No sell-by date stamp (there is a code that I assume will get me one if I contact the company, will see) but they seem fresh enough to me. Packing was a sturdy box padded with crumpled paper; each pie comes in an individual paper box, reducing "smushability" somewhat as well. These arrived intact. Blackberry pies' filling = a clear bluish gel with a few sparse seeds suspended in it (actual blackberries are in the ingredients, but some way down the list). Filling flavor and texture is definitely not on par with a proper berry pie, but I didn't expect it to be; it's all right, would eat another. The chocolate pies' filling, however, is a bust: Insufficiently chocolatey, so sweet that it made my eyes water. I didn't see milk listed in the ingredients, and while that was why I got these for the lactose intolerant on the trip (to save a few digestive caplets), I think it's part of the flavor problem, too. I took three bites from different parts of the chocolate pie in case I'd just hit a nugget of sugar, but the whole thing was intolerably sweet. Threw the rest of it out and donated the others.(Edited to be more precise.)

Defective and ruined
The pies came but they were wet and gross. I don't know if it was a shipping issue or if the seller is selling defective products. They refused to refund my money. Very disappointed. Update- they did refund my money. Thank you.

Pretty good pies, try them refrigerated.
When I ordered these I wasn't sure what to expect, I never tried them before, I think they're pretty good, they're not like donuts I've had before with similar contents, but after all, it's a pie not a donut. They were pretty good tasting, not stale, not dry, not too overly moist -yeah, I know the word moist makes some of us uncomfortable, but it's the proper description of the word here, as a good thing. I would recommend refrigerating when you get them and eat them cold, much better.

Great product, I will ordering more from time to time, to avoid becoming a diabetic, the products from this company are outstanding, I ordered some chocolate ones but I canceled the order only because the date of delivery changed fron October 16 to November 16.

Don’t waste your money
JJ pies are delicious so I ordered 6 pies for $15 thinking these will be well worth it. Unfortunately, the 6 boxes were wet n soggy even though they were wrapped in plastic and in another box in which the cardboard box was not wet in anyway. The corners were open slightly. Once u opened the box, they were either smashed or stuck to the box. There was no glaze (frosting) on the pie. The others u pick them up n they bent making them hard to hold. They didn’t smell right. Finally found the expiration date which it looks like they were trying to hide n it was 4-2024. Threw them away. Don’t waste your money or time buying these. If I could, I would give this review a zero.

Soggy pie
Product is soggy. I've bought these at grocery stores and they typically have a crispy crust, however, having them delivered may not be the best option. The crust is soggy and gummy.
