When my chainsaw would not start, I knew it was time for a carburetor replacement. The entire new carburetor kit cost about the same as a rebuild kit so I purchased the entire kit which provided me with everything I needed to replace the carburetor on my chainsaw. There are many YouTube videos, which show you exactly how to do this And I was able to replace the carburetor on my chainsaw literally less than an hour. The adjustments were already made on the carburetor and no necessary. Changes were needed for it to run beautifully. This saved me about $60 doing it myself. Very reasonably priced.

This carburetor enabled me to continue using my Craftsman 16" / 36cc chainsaw for a reasonable price. The original carb and purge bulb were shot, and the fuel lines were also no longer a tight fit to the old carb.In order to use this on the chainsaw, a few minor modifications had to be made. The choke linkage is different, so I had to carve a clearance hole in the airbox cover - no big deal using a dremel and an exacto knife. The hole is covered by the foam air filter, so should not be an entry point for dirt.The original fuel line is of two different sizes, both of which are smaller than what was included in the kit. To install the new line, I carefully drilled the holes in the chainsaw to fit the new line, making them smaller than the line so it will seal like the original. Choose your drill size wisely, you only get one chance! The new line fit both carb brass tubes snugly.After all this, the chainsaw will idle and run full speed nicely. You will have to adjust the three screws on the carb once installed, but that is going to be the case for any replacement carb. Money well spent!

This company says it will replace the wt324. It does not fit. Don't know what they fit but the walbro is not it.

the choke will not fit without cuttng a hole, I used a dremel cutting blade to cut out the bottom right corner to accomodate the choke lever. The low setting on the carb needed a 1/4 turn counter-clockwise for smoother run. good price.

My saw needed a new one. The first one I got was no good. But Amazon returns are so easy I got a replacement in two days that came in twice as fast as the original. It's a good deal where you get everything you need to put the saw back in service like new. Fuel lines, fuel filter, air filter, spark plug along with the carburetor. All worked out for the best in the end.

The new carburetors choke mechanism interferes with the saws plastic air filter housing when replacing the Walboro WT324 carburetor. Reading some other vendors adds they say you have to install the old choke mechanism in the new carb. That's a very tedious task with tiny parts. Also this only includes one size fuel hose and theses Craftsman/Pouland chainsaws require a smaller fuel hose and one the size they supply. Extra work to use this kit!

What I looked at in the picture and it said it will fit my chainsaw but unfortunately it was not.

Did not match for the WT324 Walboro carb for my Craftsman chainsaw. The replacement lines where one size where the chainsaw needs 2 different sizes. The gaskets don't match either. The primer bulb and gas filters are good though. Disappointed to say the least.
