Art Deco Great Gatsby Inspired Tassel Beaded 1920s Flapper Dress

Okay, so I'm not one to leave a review on anything but I was sooooo happy and extremely satisfied with this purchase that I HAD to comment on it. This dress was inexpensive with great quality. I wore this to a "Gatsby" themed wedding this weekend and got so many compliments. I would absolutely recommend this dress and I'm sure if the quality is consistent across all their dresses, you'll have no problem. (PS. I'm 5'5/135lbs and the Medium was pretty true to size. I also didn't experience the slip being too short, everything was perfect)

Great dress! I was very impressed by how comfortable it was, as well as with the craftsmanship. I was looking for something 1920's themed without being too much of a costume for a company party and this worked out perfectly! The design was exactly what I was looking for, it evoked the Gatsby idea but didn't go over the top. I can definitely wear this again to another event without worrying that I'll look like I got lost on my way to a Halloween party. People were blown away all night that this dress came from Amazon for such a great price. Pros: The beading & sequin work on the dress is very well done, there was one loose bead on the entire dress when I got it, but it hardly impacted the overall quality. The fringe is the perfect length to give you movement. The comfort of the dress was great, I didn't get scratches or irritation on my arms from it. I was able to move freely and was comfortable in it all night. The only thing that gave me any pause was the length of the dress, without the fringe, some of the peaks of the material under the beading zig-zag came a little high for my usual tastes when I first tried it on, but once I added some micro-fishnet stockings, I felt like I wouldn't have any accidental exposures & didn't. I certainly wouldn't recommend bending over at the waist in this dress. Fit: I purchased a small and feel like it is sized to fit 4-6, but closer to the 4. My measurements are 27 waist, 34 hips, 33 bust, 5'-6" and the small fit perfectly, except for the slightly short feeling, but again, the fringe covered more than I thought it would and it didn't end up being an issue. I ordered a medium in hopes it would be a little longer, but it was too big everywhere else and drooped at the arm holes, but at least I knew small worked best. One small difference in the dress I received vs. the dress in the picture, the blue lining is cut in the same zig-zag as the sheer beading/sequin overlay, not just straight across as pictured, which I felt was an improvement over the picture. The lining is attached in two places, the sides, which helps the dress move more freely. This dress is an steal for under $40, I'll definitely look at more dresses by this company for future needs.

I literally have not written an Amazon review in 10+ years but this dress compelled me to leave a few notes of encouragement for my fellow shoppers.I'm 5'7, about 145lbs, with a little bit of hip. I purchased a medium and it fits like a glove. But not like a slutty glove. THOUGH the reviews that say the slip inside is a bit short and weird are true (my cheeks are catching a breeze as I type this). My suggestion/plan is to get a black slip to wear under the dress. That takes care of that. The rest of the dress is PHENOMENAL. The beading. The fringe. The sequins. The construction. Totally worth more than what I paid.What can I say, I'm just in awe. Forget the Gatsby party, I'm wearing this thing to the supermarket.

I ordered this dress for a Gatsby Themed Party and it was everything and more. The fit was great, I am 5'3", 125lbs and ordered a size small. However, if you want the dress to fit like a true 20's style dress then I would order a size up. The beading was impeccable and the dress is very nicely made. Overall, the dress is great quality and well worth the price!

Love, love, love this dress, I wore it to a Roaring 20's party and paired it with a peacock feather hair clip. I got compliments all night! I went by reviews because the chart seemed off. So glad that I did! The first time I ordered a Medium and the sleeves were a little big, and the waist was a little baggy. So I returned it and ordered a Small and it fit perfect! I'm 5'3" and 146lbs. I have a curvy figure and a big bust and the small was just the right size. DO NOT go by the chart. According to my measurements I was a Large. Glad that I went with reviews instead. Arrived in great condition and the material was so comfy. I wore it all night! Definitely a great buy!

I LOVED THE DRESS! The quality was amazing for the price. The blue color is so gorgeous and I am going to wear it again and again! I bought the XL and glad I did for it fit snug around the bottom. Slightly big on top. I am a size 14 with a DD chest. You will not be disappointed with this dress!

Beautiful dress, amazing quality! The beadwork is gorgeous. I bought it for a Great Gatsby Dinner Party on NYE and I received compliments not only there but wherever we went all night! It fit as expected but was slightly short in the back. (Thank goodness it had fringe along the bottom!) The price of this dress vs the quality is unmatched!! Buy it!I ordered a size Small, normally wear a US dress size 4

I was worried about the fit but a medium was correct choice for me; 4 stars because it’s a little too short for the work event I had hoped to wear it at! Even with tights...5’5” 150lbs, 36B, former swimmer so sometimes shoulders are too small but this fit well there. I think a large wouldn’t been too baggy in all the wrong places!Love the dark green color; I plan on adding some black tights when I do get to wear this (definitely a keeper)You’ll need an assistant to zipper or some engineering skills if you’re solo FYI

This is a great dress. Well made, comfortable and very 1920 Gatesby look. I bought 8 dresses to try on, and sent the photos of me in each dress to my sisters and daughter. Everyone of them picked this dress as the best. I'm 5ft 2in and weigh 9st4lb. My normal dress size 12 was perfect for this dress. I bought the UK 10/12 size. I would not fit a size 10, but it fitted me perfectly. Only one problem. The dress is quite short. And thats the only reason for a lost star. The fringe came to my knee, but the actual dress material was a little high up the leg for my taste. No bending over or sitting down! However, for a younger girl, this would not be a problem. It's a terrific dress.

This dress is amazing! I've received it on time and the quality of dress is great, worth of the money. It doesn't look cheap like some other dresses which I have ordered for Great Gatsby event. And it is durable so definitely I can wear it on other occasions as it looks very elegant.Received many compliments from colleagues on the event so definitely did the job.Also, I was scared that it may come smaller that size ordered but it fit perfectly.Definitely worth of recommendation.

The dress is of good quality and it fits perfectly to size. Very comfy and also stretchy, so you can bust your 1920s moves in it without any problem. I might buy it in other colours in the future!

The dress itself is a lovely design and good quality for the price. The sizing was very small in comparison to UK standards and I ordered a size larger after reading other reviews but still came up very small so had to return and no time to replace.

The dress fits perfectly and the quality is very good keeping in mind how cheap the dress is.I did not give 5 stars because the delivery time was way longer than expected.
