For the sightballs
Pricy but worth it to ensure Chicken keeps her eyes strong for as long as possible post diabetes diagnosis! It's been several months with no apparent cloudiness or degradation in her vision

Wow!
I'm a skeptical person and was not expecting these to help my dog's eyes. After seeing this product reccomended on a Cavalier health page, I was willing to give it a try. My dog has lipid deposits, that look like little cloud shapes on both eyes. I give her 2 of the "small dog" pills, each morning. She is 25 lbs. I've read other reviews that mention not to have the dog chew them as the liquid is red and will stain, so I wrap a tiny amount of sliced cheese around each pill and act like they're treats, with zero protest. One eye, the spot is almost completely gone. The other eye it is *gone*!! Her eyes look amazing. We saw improvement within a couple weeks, and way before the bottle was empty. We are on our second bottle now, added to autoship and won't go a day without them! Amazing product!!

Excellent product for diabetic dogs - the only one with any proven results to delay the development of diabetic cataracts
I began using Ocu-Glo for my dog when he was diagnosed with diabetes, as most diabetic dogs become blind from diabetes within the first 9 months after diagnosis (something like 80%). Ocu-Glo is the only eye supplement product - or any product, actually - that has proven, clinical results, showing that it can delay the development of diabetic cataracts in diabetic dogs. In the small clinical study, two dogs even regained sight in their newly cataractous eyes, which is unheard of, and I wouldn't believe, without the study. I highly encourage anyone with a diabetic dog to read the article about the clinical study in the International Journal of Diabetes and Research, which you can find by searching online for the name of that journal, plus "Ocu Glo" and "diabetic dog." It is fascinating but also easy to read, and only about 5 pages long.Yes, Ocu-Glo capsules are a bit pricy, but they have quality ingredients in them, and, again, they're the only product with proven results showing they work. My dog has recently gone blind from diabetes, but he kept his vision for the first year after he was diagnosed - meaning he didn't develop diabetic cataracts during the time frame that around 80% or more of diabetic dogs do - and I credit that to using this product. The capsules are a bit large, which may be a problem if your dog hates taking pills. My dog is a small dog, but will gulp down anything if wrapped in chicken breast or a Pill Pocket, so he had no problem taking OcuGlo capsules. I am including a photograph showing the OcuGlo capsule (the brownish capsule), compared to an Advil pain reliever (the blue capsule), to give an idea of size.

Preserved vision
My Lab has a sight issue that has stumped our vet and a K9 Ophthalmologist. The Ocu-GLO has had helped preserve her vision though not restore it. That’s a plus considering the alternative.

Questioning these reviews
I cannot believe I spent $50 on gelcaps that look like they're for humans. I was desperate as our dog was just diagnosed with diabetes and cataracts. I gave him the gel caps in a treat and he spit them out. I then put them in peanut butter and he chewed one and spit it out and red gel went everywhere. It turned my hands red. I will try again tomorrow with another food. I'll be sure to come back and update if they actually help but for now I'm truly disappointed in the product.

Great product, terrible shipping.
USPS delivery. Someone noticed that pills were being shipped. Package cut open. Realized pills for dogs and did not take. No notification from amazon that pills delivered. Got two bottles of frozen gel cap pills. 23 degrees in Michigan.

Amazing for dogs
My dog has been on this for five years and while it can’t stop her eyes from regressing it did stop her eyesight from getting worse. She is now 11 and I wish my old vets had recommended it. She sees the eye vet twice a year and they joke she should be the model for a campaign… given how much it’s stopped her from going blind. Thank you to ocuglow.
