I'm a beginner
BUT i can already see the quality in these water colors. It is super smooth. The color is as transparent or opaque as you want. The selection of colors is ideal for mixing colors in my opinion from what I know of color theory. Paint quality in my opinion is good and it works well. I personally thought the amount of paint would be less but you get a decent amount.Update 12OCT24: I LOVE these aquarelles. The blueberries are mine & white the cafe is a follow along Youtube video (dont remember the name of the Youtuber). Im a COMPLETE beginner. And Ive been playing around with these colors for about three weeks. Im using mid quality paper. I say mid because its not a brand name notebook but it has 1k+ reviews online with a 4.5 rating. But these watercolors are excellent and I have use for almost all the colors. So many colors are overwhelming if you dont sit down and have a grasp of color theory. I will be reaching pans on this one. They are vibrant as you need them. I might do another update after I get at least student grade paper.

Highly recommended!
At first I was worried to learn these are student-grade watercolors, but I was pleasantly surprised. These are great!WHAT I LOVED:They are very pigmented, rewet easily, and are just a pleasure to paint with. I enjoyed making the swatches SO MUCH! It includes a swatch page, which is always a plus. I first painted a square directly from the pan, then added water to see how they move through the page (see last picture). I also love that these are FULL PANS. That means it has a lot of paint to play with. It also makes it more affordable because you get more paint for almost the same amount of money as the other good quality student-grade sets.WHAT I DIDN'T LOVE:First, the Zinc White looks like it was cross-contaminated. Or maybe it's the binder? I'm leaning towards binder because it does paint white. Second, the booklet comes in CHINESE (I think that's the language because it says it's from Shanghai Aowen Art Materials). It would've been nice to have it in a language that I understand (English, Spanish, or even French). It's useless to me as it is! But honestly, I don't really need the booklet in order to enjoy the paints. Finally, the swatch page is vertical instead of horizontal, making it practically useless if you don't use the plastic guide it comes with. However, since I don't plan on traveling with this set, I could probably leave it in there or maybe I'll just do my own swatch page in the correct order.IN CONCLUSION:The positives greatly outweigh the negatives in this set. So that's why I gave it a perfect rating. These are perfect for students or hobby watercolorists. I'm not a professional and I don't own any artist-grade watercolors, so I don't have much to compare these with, but I would say even a professional would enjoy these paints. Plus, they arrived prior to the estimated date. I highly recommend this set!

Wonderful pigments
Full, rich pigments. Having 24 colors is helpful, less mixing. Also, these are full pan size, so they will last much longer than the common half pans.Only DISAPPOINTMENT was that I received two emerald green pans and missed having the simple blue. No real recourse because I didn't discover this until I was creating the swatch sheet. Someone in China was lax on the quality control.

Just buy it!
This palette is not nearly as popular as it should be. 24 full pans for the price is incredible. You cannot find that anywhere else and get the superb paint quality that you get with this set. These colors are so pigmented it took me a little while to get the hang of the water to paint ratio which is not a bad problem to have by any means. I have been painting for a few years and when I bought this palette and swatched it I immediately bought a back up one…or two. Okay I have 3. That’s right. I have 3 of these in fear that they will stop making it or change the price on it if it gains popularity. I think it will take me the rest of my years to go through them but that’s okay. The blendability, texture, paint quality, pigment- all are wonderful.

Worth every dollar
A professional watercolor artist on YT gave this brand a glowing review, saying it was the best quality for the money. I had been wanting to invest in a good palette, so I decided to buy this one. Goodness me, this palette is so good! I'm not professional in any way, I'm just trying to teach myself the basics. This palette is great for learning. The colors are vivid, opaque, and blend easily. I'm obsessed. Now I want more, because that's how it works.Buy it! I can't recommend it more!

Great color pigments
Glad that I got this set. It was recommended from another artist. It gives me a nice range of colors easy to use. The overall size of it is very light. I would definitely recommend beginner intermediate, or advanced by this one.

Quite good for student grade
I purchased this as it was a recommended product. Several of the colors granulated weirdly when I was using it to make holiday cards. The colors are vibrant, but I don't think I'd purchase it again.UPDATE: I decided to try these again, after I changed watercolor paper brand, and I am much happier with paints. I've only used the blues, reds and yellows so far but they've performed quite a lot better on this paper. I'd say if you don't want to spend a lot of money and don't want to do your own color mixing, this is a fine set for the money.

Loose Pans
Very disappointed. The pans were completely missed up in comparison with the colour chart and had to be tested to get into order.Instructions and main Color chart were in chinese so no help at all. Color’s are ok and they have a reasonable amount of pigment. Would not purchase again.
