Good buy
I paid 138 and they are an excellent buy. I cannot believe how well these work for the price. The motion notification is a little behind but that has not seemed to bother me much. The recordings it saves are from the beginning when it detects the motion so even though notification on my phone is slow, I can see the activity from the moment motion was detected by watching the recording. Good quality picture. Microphone and speaker work well. Night vision I would give 4 out of 5, could be better but it gets by. I just make sure I have plenty of lighting outside. Battery life seems to be pretty good. On my back door camera where there are few and far between triggers, except for the odd cat here and there, the battery life has been at 99% for two weeks. The front door gets a lot more triggers as I live in a condo. The battery life is at 80% after two weeks but it gets triggered on average 15 times a day. You can program activity zones where it only picks up movement in that zone and that has helped a lot as I am across from a condo gate and now I have fewer videos of people coming and going from the building next door. I do recommend these. They are good quality, especially for the money.

Don’t waste your money
These cameras lasted less than a year and their customer support is limited to messaging. They give you three minutes to respond and if there is a time delay then they will close the conversation and you have to start over with a new person it’s maddening, I went through this more than once then I just gave up and now I’m writing this review. The cameras don’t work unless you pay a monthly subscription. Time lag when people walk by it doesn’t record until they have already passed and it misses the action. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone.

Cameras are GREAT when they WORK
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR MONEY/BUY!!!When we originally purchased these cameras in January 2022 for our new home we LOVED THEM. Picture/video quality was awesome. Set up was INITIALLY great and the alerts were cool.Fast forward to November this year, only ONE out of the 3 we purchased will CONNECT. The other 2 are useless at this point. We originally thought it was our Smart WIFI 6 Router, as you don't have the option to manually connect to the 2G network although the WIFI router provides 2G/5G. The rest of the Smart devices in our home such as Smart Lights/Locks/Power Outlets/Other Smart Security Cameras connect just as fine as they're only 2G capable. Our other Arlo Camera connected just fine so we were a bit confused.We uninstalled the Arlo App, Reset the Cameras, Stood as close to the Router as possible, Tried walking away from the WIFI Router as far as possible, did a rain dance, prayed to God. Nothing worked!!!We even went so far as to purchase another WIFI Router with manual 2G/5G WIFI Bands, connected my phone to the 2G network and made sure to try and connect the remaining 2 cameras (that were FULLY charged) to it. But it remains stuck on THIS SCREEN (See pic attached). So we KNOW our WIFI is not the problem.They do NOT offer a phone number where you can reach CUSTOMER SUPPORT, UNLESSSSSS you live in Canada. I live in the USA. The phone number on Amazon that I tried to reach out to them with is their Arlo.com 'Order Number' which literally only allows you to enter an order number to track it.I'm big on customer support. I look into that before I purchase ANY product because what good is the product if the Company doesn't stand behind it 100% ??? When you have to troubleshoot if the customer support is non-existent to help fix it with you and leaves you stranded??? So now I have 2 cameras I spent $300+ and No surveillance in my backyard or side of my home and it sucks!!

NEW CAMERAS , Doesn’t WORK!! Very Disappointed!!!!
After two years of procrastinating to put my cameras up, I finally did this week and how about 1 camera out of the 3 is the ONLY ONE that works and holds a charge. !!😳The 2nd one don’t want to hold a charge no longer than 15 mins and the 3rd one DOES NOT WORK at all!!!!! SO I’m in search of a solution. !Please help! I want to get rid of them n get my money back !!! And side note… yes I literally just opened them..,2 years later from when I purchased them. N yes I tried to troubleshoot them . Still won’t make a sound or blink.!! So please help !!!

No me han resultado buenas estas cámaras. La batería no dura nada . Pague un seguro por un año o algo así para el mal funcionamiento y nunca me he podido comunicar con nadie . Solo me mandan a ayuda de soporte técnico .Quiero cambiarlas por otras que no tenga que estar cargando cada semana . O que me regresen mi dinero .

I love it and feel safe now in my neighborhood!!! WOW!!
I am so impressed with this camera, the videos are so clear that if needed, Police could see people very clearly. There have been many breakins in my area and the distance that it picks up will help keep my neighbors safe too. Siren is loud so my neighbors can hear it and the spotlight gives enough light!
