I assumed the sizing information meant the hat would be big for the small measurement, perfect on the medium measurement and if you were lucky and got a larger hat, the bigger measurement would be OK, but this hat has a unique selling point which explains the varying measurements. The hat band has a cord running through it, so if it is on the big side for your head you can tighten the cord. As a result of this clever solution the hat actually does fit comfortably on the larger measurement. I was also sceptical about the cost of this material hat but it is well made, so it is worth the price.

A hundred years later, and this hat still looks relevant today; proving that some styles really are timeless. As you may have gathered, I absolutely love this hat!The style is so wonderfully feminine, and really does work with all manner of outfits.I’ve ordered another one in black, and the other styles are looking rather tempting too.These hats are very well made, the fit was spot on, and kept my head and ears warm and cosy during the recent windy weather. I had a lovely compliment the other day, from a girlfriend of mine; she said the hat looked very cutesy, and has ordered the orange version.Oh, and well worth the asking price and the five stars too.Hope this has been helpful.Paula-Jayne. Love it. Fits perfect and you can adjust with a tape to tighten it to your head if need be. Looks great, had lots of compliments. So glad I purchased it.

The circumference of my head is 19in and this hat is huge, I tried to pull the ties to make it smaller but they snapped with no pressure used, it arrived in a bag with another hat I ordered which was also huge and both were badly creased, it was stupid of me to buy 2 hats at once coz now I’m left with hats I can’t wear, there might be some people these hats might fit, but the way they’re packaged they arrive very badly creased which you can’t do anything with them, the styles fine if the seller can put other issues right, Sorry, it’s the first bad review iv written. After a delivery delay (no fault of seller however) I have finally received this hat and really it is all I expected it to be. It was reasonably priced, I had the next day prime delivery which went well the second time, and the hat fits perfectly with a decent brim that stops nicely at eyebrow level, has good head covering so probably won't blow off in the wind easily either. The medium grey outer fabric is 65% Polyester 35% Wool, keeping shape nicely even during transit. Lined, so head won't get scratchy. I personally didn't like the little diamanté flower on side but this was easily removed. Have had cause to correspond with seller and they could not have been more helpful - thank you so much.

I liked the style of this hat in the picture however it arrived in a small bag which knocked it out of shape. For the price I would have expected better packaging. It is also way too big even with the cord to tighten it. Lovely in the picture but pretty poor in reality. Would not recommend.

I’ve been looking for this style of hat for ages, I’m so pleased with this. It was squashed flat when it arrived but once opened it looked great. I have quite a large head but this fits me very well. It’s very light but still manages to keep me warm.

Extremely small. Does not fit my mother. Bought to cover her whole head as she gets cold in all weather even when its warm, due to illness. This hat does not fit the purpose it was purchased for. Looks more like a child size. Quality of the hat looks ok. But its not a bucket hat. Sits too proud on the head.
