Are the screwdrivers jis spec or american spec? i saw some reviews said they didn't fit that great. also are the allen keys coated at all?

These are JIS, work perfectly for Tamiya screws. Have been using my set for over 2 years now and the JIS drivers still work like new. All of the drivers are coated as well. The hex drivers are not the greatest (I much prefer my metal handle MIP drivers), but the kit is worth it for the JIS drivers alone.

If you have TAMIYA RC . No problem perfect sizes for Tamiya rc kit. They have magnets for screws
