Perfect for a lifted truck!
I own a Ram 2500 Outdoorsman and it's leveled so it sits up higher than the average truck. The scissor jack it came with just ain't gonna cut it if I need to get something done under the truck. This jack came highly recommended when I did a Google search for a replacement jack and it didn't disappoint. The jack has a built in jack stand and lock pin for safety. It's a quick release and very sturdy capable of getting the wheels off the ground to get my single jack stands underneath it. It's heavy without breaking your back to lift it, and compact enough for a tool or the Ram boxes if you have them. It isn't a small jack I can put under the seats however so I did habe to get creative to store it inside the truck. Definitely worth the price.

Actually needed it on first trip!. Worked beautifully!
A few months ago I had a blowout on my pull behind RV and only had a small bottle jack. I could never get it placed to be stable enough to lift the RV. So I had to call somebody. When I got home I studied all the options and chose this one. What a great decision! On the very next trip the other tire blew. Using this jack, it was a piece of cake. Things were stable, I felt safe, and the RV was easy to lift. I especially liked the fact it automatically locked in place to act as a jack stand. The only draw back is that it is very big and heavy. That's not really an issue for me since I store it in the RV, but it might be for others.Again, this is a well designed, solid jack/jack stand. I highly recommend it.

Why didn't I think of this?!
Genius. Why not? I've been using jacks and jack stands since I was a kid, and never did it occur to me to join the two into one! But here you go! It's awesome for taller vehicles, like trucks and SUVs. Won't fit under most sedans, unless you use another jack to get it started. Works so great, I'm planning to buy two or three more and just use them wherever I would use a jackstand, since they give you the freedom to make adjustments once the vehicle is on the stands! They are considerably heavier, obviously. I love that the bottom is a solid plate, so if you're using it on gravel or grass, or asphalt, the feet don't sink in like a regular jack, so you don't need to hunt down a piece of plywood like you would normally. But I can imagine that this might present its own issue if you're working on, say, a cracked/uneven floor. In that case, you might want to use a piece of wood anyway. All in all, it's a great product, nice to have, and less expensive than I would have guessed. My friends were impressed when they saw it, and they wanted to know where to get one, so that says a lot!

Essential, Safe Emergency Roadside Insurance
I initially received an Alltrade 640912 3-Ton All-In-One Bottle Jack that arrived in its new box with all of the hydraulic jack oil leaked out into the box. I realized that if the seals in the hydraulic jack were unable to retain the oil (without leaking) inside the bottle jack, the jack was useless and definitely NOT a reliable tool to support my 3-ton pickup truck! But the idea behind the design of this particular jack/jackstand system is brilliant, and it may provide a degree of safety and effectiveness not readily available elsewhere. I am VERY appreciative of the conscientious Customer Service provided by Amazon in replacing the jack/jackstand system quickly and with one that works flawlessly. All problems aside, the Alltrade 640912 3-Ton All-In-One Bottle Jack is an excellent devise, well worth its price! Thanks Amazon.

LEAK & HOW TO FIX
So apparently this is a badly designed product that keeps selling for years with no Quality Control. Luckily, it is fixable. From 2 jacks 1 was leaking oil. I would give it 5 stars instead of 1 because I had fun fixing it but you wouldn't find it so easy if you now need the fix like I did so here it is:1) FIX- Remove the release valve- Clean yourself, the floor and the jack from oil- Use a magnet to remove the steel ball that's supposed to sit flush beneath the release valve- Put the steel ball to a safe location- Remove the O-rings from the release valve and use new, 0.05mm-0.1 thicker ones- Insert the steel ball exactly in the center of the seat- Insert the release valve2) REFILL THE OIL- Remove the upper rubber plug- Remove the remaining oil- Refill with new hydraulic oil - the hole is the level- Put back the rubber plugIf you have doubts about the step, find a YouTube video.3) BLEED THE AIRStage 1- Without weight on jack, open release valve.- Hand lift jack to maximum height.- Close release valve.- Put pressure on jack (jack might go down about halfway).- Pump jack to maximum height. (if jack does not move, just keep pumping it for about 20-25 full strokes)- Once the jack reaches maximum height, pump it some more – about 10-15 full pumps.- Open release valve.- As the jack comes down, start pumping jack again.- When jack reaches lowest level, pump it some more – about 10-15 full strokes.Stage 2- Close release valve.- Pump jack to maximum height.- When maximum height is reached, pump some more – about 10-15 full strokes.- Open release valve.- As jack comes down, start pumping jack again.- When jack reaches lowest level, pump it some more – about 10-15 full strokes.- Repeat Stage 2, 2-3 times.Stage 3- Put some weight on the jack.- Repeat Stage 2.I hope it was helpful. Work safe and enjoy your car.
