Westin Wade 72-40181 Truck Bed Rail Caps Black Smooth Finish without Stake Holes for 2004-2012 Chevrolet Colorado & GMC Canyon Standard Cab Extended Cab (Set of 2)

It was purchased as a return, it was easy to install, it was a good value, the adhesion is great, but the end pieces near the cab of the truck appeared to be cut jaggedly and it did not fit flush.

Perfect fit for a 2005 Colorado/Canyon Ext Cab (72-inch bed without post holes). There was a generous amount of 3M Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape included. I used brake clean to prepare the surface and the bed rail caps were a perfect fit.

Covered up some scratches on the bed rails and were super easy to install! Looked great!

The design of this bed rail was perfect. It fit from end to end perfectly, and the adhesion is strong. When you do what the directions tell you to do, you shouldn’t experience any problems!

Moldings can use 2x the tape supplied - I bought an extra roll of 3M tape at my auto parts store. Also used 3 screws per side onto the box to keep these from flying off. Fit was sloppy inboard/outboard + overall length. Had to trim the inner flange on these, 2 sides, to get my tonneau cover to install on the box.

I cleaned my bed rails very well then went back and cleaned the rails with alcohol before installing the bed rail covers, they lasted Saturday and Sunday driving around town but Monday morning I got on the interstate and drove to work, when I got there one rail cover was missing and the other was coming off, the rail covers only have adhesive in spots not down the whole cover like it apparently needs.
