KalaBrand Music Co., 4-String Ukulele, Natural, Tenor (KA-TK-T-CE)

I have had my Kala teak tri-top tenor ukelele for at least a year now. It sounds absolutely gorgeous, which makes me want to play it all the time. It almost sounds like a harp when I pluck the strings in the right spot over the neck. The electronics and tuner are a great addition, and the price is very fair for what you get. My only small complaint is that the frets are pretty sharp on the sides. At least they are sharper on the bottom side and more towards the higher end notes, so it's not really a problem for me. I know I can always file them down a little if needed (a fret file tool is only $5-$10) so it's a non issue but worth mentioning. I do highly recommend this ukelele. I love it so much! It's so satisfying and easy to play, and looks great too! Kala is the best!

Looked beautiful, until i looked a bit closer...warped neck, screws popping out of the tuning knobs, razor sharp frets, and the action was so high I could park a truck under it... I had very high hopes for it, but this was a bit of a let down.

I first bought a caramel tenor ukulele and loved it so I thought a second uke with a low g string would be awesome too. I expected I would get better quality with a Kala but boy was I wrong. The frets were sharp, action too high. I returned it and got a second one as I thought maybe that one somehow skipped a quality inspection but no, the 2nd replacement Kala arrived and it was equally the same crap as the first. So I returned and got another Caramel tenor which I was as happy with as the first one I got. If this Kala had been my first one I probably would have given up trying to play.

Love the built in tuner. This works and sounds great..helps with knowing if you are playing chords correctly can quickly see if it is sharp or flat..My absolute favorite Ukulele out of seven.Wish the frets were not so sharp on the sides but love the side markings for giving you bearings on the neck.

I ordered the Kala cos I wanted quality at a reasonable price. I gotta say, this instrument exceeds all my expectations hands down. Absolutely delighted....more like love at first sight. Only thing slightly off, is the frets are a bit sharp, but a bit of attention with some sandpaper tomorrow and they'll be just fine.

Bought it for my Grandson and he loves it! Liked the size and that you could plug it it. He's been playing for about 5 years so it's not his 1st instrument.

Broke for no reason while being hung up on a stand, seller offers terrible customer service and will not replace it. When you pay this much for something it’s incredibly disappointing to have it break so fast for quite literally no reason. I tried to reach out they told me to glue it. Awful seller
