Compleat Angler Woven Felt Sole Replacements

The instructions seemed ok, but I looked online for more hints. Seems the instructions were fine after all. Project went smoothly and has held up well. I got more contact cement from a home center as a precaution. Turned out to be a good thing. The included tube was good for about 75% of the application. It might have been sufficient (I may have over-applied it). It certainly would have been enough if I wore a size 8 or 9 boot.

My felt soles fell off my waders during a trip. And sending them back to the manufacturer would have been time consuming and costly (shipping) So I purchased these, had them in a few days and put them right on and I'm back in business!

Ok, Doesn't seem to hold up as long as expected. You will at least get another season out of your boots if not two.

need a little peace to make a heel . make sure you have every thing ready to go even have sole cut because when ready to go its fast, you dont want glue to dry goofing around with other things. the first one i did was hard to cut sole when i put it on boot, so i cut the 2 nd. one much better and faster to put on. havent try them yet , going next week so i will let you know how they work? but so far puting them on my boot was not bad at all.

GARBAGE!

Was a little more involved than I expected, but was well worth it. I just got back from a fishing trip and am completely satisfied.

I haven't put them in the water yet but they seem to be good quality. I resoled three pairs of hip waders with this felt. The only complaint I have is when they instruct you to wrap the boot and sole tight in duct tape, they do not warn you about being careful when removing the tape. If you aren't careful it will separate the felt as it seems to be in two layers.
