Exhaust fan good just not for quiet areas
The media could not be loaded. This exhaust fan it is not quietloud, It does move air however, the amount of Air it moves does not equal the amount of noise it makes.

budget whole house fan. Moves a lot of air.
i mounted this in my attic access hatch as a whole house fan. Moves a lot of air. Noise level is reasonable for what it is but i probably wouldnt want to be using the room its mounted in. elsewhere on my upper floor its not bad but possibly still on the loud side for sleeping(an add on controller to slow it down some for night use may improve this). On my lower floor i dont hear it at all unless im near the stairs. Great item. Very happy with it at this price point.

These are NOT "explosion proof fans" - FALSE ADVERTISING
Ordered four of these fans for my auto spray booth. I trusted the headline "Explosion Proof Fan" and built two fan boxes to be installed in my shop. After my fan boxes were built and i installed the fans and as I began wiring I noticed things didn't look to be explosion proof at all. I inquired from the seller and confirmed that even though they were advertised as "Explosion Proof" they were NOT explosion proof fans. The seller blamed Amazon and offered only a small discount to remedy my situation. Now, months later, I still see the false advertising. I ended up having to buy legitimate explosion proof fans. Thankfully I caught the issue before a tragic fire or explosion happened. Terrible that I wasn't able to get a refund.
