VS-660-36 Livestock Veterinary Scale 36" x 16" - 660 lb Capacity with Rubber mat

This is a very good piece of equipment , especially for the money! My daughters show Boer goats and this makes keeping up with their weights a breeze , can't go wrong with it!

From the day I took the scale out of the box, I've had nothing but problems with it. And all Jay Afonso with A and A Scales LLC wants to do is send you parts for you to work on it. I literally have spent 30-40 hours trying to repair this scale. And Jay even expected me to solder a new cable to the bottom of the circuit board. While there is a 6 month warranty/guarantee, Jay Afonso will not ship a new scale so you can return the defective one.Also, Jay Afonso is VERY condescending and insulting on the phone. If I could pinch his head off through the phone, I would have done numerous times already. While the scale may be cheap in price, it is also cheap in quality with HORRIBLE customer service.And lastly, there is no documentation or manuals on how to calibrate the scale, interface with the RS232 port, or troubleshoot problems. And, Jay Afonso will not ship you any manuals, while he has to read through some documentation (that he will not share with you) while trying to figure out how to operate the scale.I truly believe I received a defective scale from the start. And now, I have a scale that doesn't work and $300 out of my pocket. And remember, I had problems literally the day I took it out of the box.

mine lasted about 6 months. batteries last about 3 hours and there's no light. after talking to seller, i decided it wasn't worth the risk of sending back. bought a genuine tree.
