IntermaticPF1103T Timer and Thermostat, Beige

Easy to read dials, works well on my main pool pump. Considering getting a second one for the booster pump that is beginning to wear out. I did have my friend/electrician hook it up because I am not as handy as I would like to be.

Great and gives you piece of mind. Highly recommend.

I wanted to keep pool open this year, so I purchased the PF1103T to replace my old timer that did not have freeze protection. Relatively simple to do yourself just take a picture of wiring with cell phone before disconnecting everything. Make sure your old timer has a white wire run from the sub-panel to the timer. Mine did not so I ran one myself (10 gauge) . Make sure to shut power off to sub-panel from the house, you don't want to take a chance working with live 220v. If the white wire was already run this would have been an easy swap. Still it wasn't that hard and took about 1 hr instead of 15 min.

Quality product.

Works flawlessly with adjustable on off times for times during the year. Also it has a freeze protection knob adjustable to run the pump when the air temperature is below the adjustable set point.

I think it is ok. But I wish they were not missing the pins. Also, I am not sure how the QA controls are going anymore, but I received several products that are missing pieces or not working...not sure where the breakdown is.The one that was not working went back. The one with missing pieces I kept and bought the missing pins.5/11 UpdateThe second one stopped working after ~ 3 weeks. It simply stopped. I set the pins to run twice a day and last weekend I noticed that the pump had not turned on that day. (rating going down to 1 star)

Easy addition to our inground pool system and perfect for those colder days in the winter. I replaced my old Intermatic timer with this Intermatic timer and thermostat model. I do not winterize my pool and with the old timer I would have to closely follow the temperature forecast to ensure my pool lines/filter did not freeze when temps dropped. With this new timer and thermostat I can relax a little and not be worried about temps when we're out of town...and save money by not needlessly running the pump.Installation was pretty straight forward and took me about 45 minutes to remove the old Intermatic timer and install the new timer/thermostat. I checked the thermostat operation as recommended by dipping the copper thermostat into a cup of ice water and the pump came on very quickly.

Already saving me money. Easy to install in old box.
