Great Kit if you are looking for lightweight equipment!

but I needed something that was easy to take around
I train others on CPR/AED and in the past used traditional CPR manakins, but I needed something that was easy to take around. A few weeks ago I was teaming up with another instructor and seeing his equipment (he needed 3 full size bags) and comparing it to mines (1 bag) made me realize how much space I have saved with this kit. The manakins and all other material are of good quality.

Very lightweight and portable
The manikins are a little flimsy but still very usable. They are very easy to assemble/disassemble and fit well into the pack. Probably not models to consider for significant use or very professional healthcare settings but for Heartsaver classes, these are great!The AEDs are small but work well. The pads need to be connected to the wires that connect to the AED which is just another step when setting up but not a significant drawback.The masks and valves are decent as well Doesn't come with a carry case for those but still a nice bonus.Overall, these really are very easy to carry and work great for layrescuer classes, just probably not durable enough for frequent, hard use.

Good for Starter
This is a good deal for those of use who are just getting started. The chose Prestans and Baby Anne for my mannequins. That mix seems to work well for me.

The manicans feature that allows breaths absolutely sucks, instead of it being built in
The manicans feature that allows breaths absolutely sucks, instead of it being built in, they give you little bags that you have to attach through the mouth and into the chest. You have to change it out for every new student. To make matters worse the stupid bag they give you to use the breaths feature is to tight and sometimes the air will get shut out entirely. Another down side is that the Manican doesn't click or let you know whenever the student pushes down enough on the chest for a compression. For $600 I would expect top of the line stuff, but instead I got a bunch of Cheap Chinese made plastic dolls. I'll never buy anything "Prestan" again.
