These feeders are inexpensive, well made and attract a wide range of small birds. The little birds have no difficulty perching on the rings and are able to get to their seeds readily. However, the larger birds will tip them over and cause seeds to fall to the ground. (Those seeds can be eaten by your ground feeders.) If you have a lot of large birds, I recommend heavier (and more expensive) hopper or platform feeders. Also, like other plastic feeders, the squirrels can chew through them. Tip after years of fighting squirrels: Place a 4 foot tall PVC pipe over your feeder pole, have it 4 feet away from bushes, 5 feet high and 6 feet away from any over hanging tree branch. Squirrel proof!!!

2021 update: I had to stop using this because its too hard to clean seed out from the bottom. See pics. The other one fell and broke.got this because of the cord lock on top- even though that doesn't look as nice as other feeders where it is hidden, it is stronger. I have tried the popular metal perky pet feeder of a similar shape but returned that because everyday the lid would be open and the seed spilled allover the ground.I have a hard time removing the lid without squeezing the lock properly, so I feel like that won't happen thisI dont mind feeding squirrels as long as they can't open the feeder and dump all the contents. Had it for a few weeks now and so far that hasn't happened.

I got these as a gift for my mom who loves birds. These are lightweight but seem to be sturdy. The toggle on the hanger cord makes it easy to fill and secure. As a bonus, you get two feeders for what you might expect to pay for one. I would recommend them. I can only give four stars because there are other feeders, costing much more, that clearly rate five stars. This feeder is a great option for the price.

I am pleased with these feeders. They are easy to hang, easy to fill and lightweight. The only problem is they work perfectly for small birds but larger birds have some difficulty but it doesn't keep them from trying. Kind of funny. but where there is a will there is a way.

These are cute but for smaller birds only! The width between the feeder and the resting bar won’t allow anything larger than a sparrow to feed!

but tho they don't hold that much seed the smaller birds love them...

A great bird feeder. Difficult for squirrels to get into and great for all types of song birds. Hangs almost anywhere. I have two and will be getting more.
