They're perfectly fine for the purpose intended. Doesn't require much effort to piece together and everything fits snuggly and have done the job as needed just fine.

I just received these today. Unlike Mr Mechsner I was able to assemble all three of the adaptors to a needle as seen in my photo. The trick is to remember that all three of these adaptors have FLEXIBLE barrels and if you 'wiggle' the needle adaptor you ca get a solid insertion and good seal for all of them.Now I also have (had) a set of more expensive adaptors (Glass Barrels) and all but one of those had broke (glass - who'da thought) and they were all screw-onn with rubber gaskets everywhere .. and $50 for three sets. The package I just received works well, no leaks, no mess, although I prefer filling my more rugged inserts from these instead of using them i the pens.If they were made better and didn't need to be carefully assembled, I'd give them 5 stars - all, instead of four, but for what we use them for - they work well and don't shatter 'cause they're not glass) if you drop them.Sorry Michael. Maybe you got a dud set. I'd return 'em and ask for a replacement

Cannot understand some of these reviews. I'll bet Mr. "garbage from China" was a little embarrassed to find that all he needed to do was PUSH a little and the syringe would snap right onto the little "coupling," making a perfect leakproof seal. Also, it wasn't lost on me that the set includes four CONVERTERS (for pens that take "international" style cartridges) that can sell for $5-10 apiece by themselves. As for the reviewer who said they needed two extra hands to use it, maybe they hadn't seen the photo showing one-handed usage. Ink cartridge (or converter) in one hand, ink syringe in the other. Simple.

the syringes are difficult to handle. the twist ones can't be used with one hand and you neer another person's help because it is very hard for one person to hold the pen cartridge and refill it at the same time doing each action with one hand. similar situation happens with the other refilling mechanism. so.. this product is good only if your pen mechanism can use the refilling sistem instead of the one included on the pen. though... the syringe part included can be used on a regular syringe for refilling!!!
