GouldsHSC10 Centrifugal Pump

When i opened the box there was rusty water all over the pump and inside the box. I replaced a hsc7 with this hsc10. The 7 has a cracked housing that been repaired and leaking shaft seal with a 4 year old impeller and 1 ft rise and 3ft down stream from the pump the old vac 7 would produce 48psi.This new one will only produce 56 psi and that takes a while to do and ppressure needle gets quite bouncy once it starts over 50psi . I was hoping for close to the rates 80psi it claimed.Would have sent back but my yard is dying from lack of water and i didn’t have another 10+ days in this heat before all my landscaping died.I think next replacement i will look to other brands as the goulds are not producing like they claim.Positives, primed quickly, volume is good, easy to install and wire. Everything from my hsc7 fit right into the HSC10.
