Just My Size Women's Stretch Jersey 9" Bikeshorts

I had been searching and searching for mostly cotton shorts like these for ages. At first I thought they were too thick (they're not made of typical legging or bike short material, they're a bit thicker almost like a hybrid of typical legging material and super-thin sweat pants). Once I wore them I appreciated their thicker fabric. I desperately needed something to wear under skirts and dresses to avoid the dreaded "chub rub" and these do the trick splendidly. I literally bought a few dozen pairs of 'em because they've become an instant staple of my wardrobe. I can be so much more active with these. They're actually affordable enough to buy multiple pairs without spending the kind of money that good underthings usually cost. There's a limit of 7 allowed per customer on Amazon so I just went to the Just My Size website and bought more. I wear 'em around the house, to bed and they're basically what I'm calling my modern bloomers. I wear them as underwear! They're super comfortable, they keep their shape (they stretch out a tiny bit which seems like a normal amount as you wear them but just wash and dry them and they bounce right back to size), they're well made and they don't creep up, ride up or bunch up. I would never wear them in public without a dress or skirt, though. They aren't a good look as shorts, imho. They do run big so you can really, truly, honestly buy a size smaller than what you usually wear and they should fit perfectly. They come up very high, just above my waist, but I like the way they fit and feel. I feel covered, comfortable and contained in them but not at all constricted. They're just slightly bulky under skirts and dresses but not enough show under clothes or to deter me for wearing them. I washed and dried them on hot and they didn't shrink. 10% spandex helps them keep their shape. I got black but I read in reviews that the heather grey has a higher percentage of spandex. The black is more of a charcoal, a bit faded looking, than a true black. I wouldn't call them bike shorts but whatever they are they're great. I just hope they don't get discontinued!

As a fat, I'm dubious about some clothing. These are soft, comfortable, run true to size, are a little shorter on me but I'm 6'2 so I account for that. You could totally wear these under a dress for chub rub damage control.

I bought several pairs of this particular style from this particular brand in both shorts and leggings, in black and charcoal Heather. The black are really comfortable because they are mostly cotton with very little polyester. The gray are not quite as comfortable as they are made with a lot of synthetic materials, such as polyester and spandex and very little cotton. I sweat more wearing these and that makes them uncomfortable. I did not realize when I was purchasing them that the different colors were made out of different material. So from here on out I definitely will be checking there label to see what it's made out of before I purchase it again

The shorts were a nice fabric. I wasn’t a fan of the color but everything else was nice. These are super comfortable and lightweight. I highly recommend these as a good set of workout shorts.

I love these shorts! Very comfortable and they slip right on. Just right to sleep in. That's the reason I bought them.

Okay... let's get one thing straight. These are NOT biker shorts. They are just comfortable, stretch shorts. They look nothing like the photo, so that is 2 stars off for false advertisement. Also, I went according to size recommendation, and received shorts that are just a comfortable, stretch fit. I was expecting a little more compression, but got nothing from these. I have them on now however, and can't seem to want to take them off as they are just comfortable shorts. I will keep them, but will not be making purchases from this company again.

I originally purchased these shorts to wear under skirts and dresses. After I realized how much I love the easy of throwing on shorts to work around the house I quickly bought more. I have purchased 3 sets of shorts since my first order. I am 5'2 and have fluctuated in weight but range between a pants size 16-18. I purchased a 1X which fit great. On my second order I purchased another 1X and a 2X. Since my weight has shifted I wanted to see if the 2X gave me a little for length in the legs and more wiggle room. Both fit great. For those ladies that can bounce between that regular sizing category and plus size, these are a friendly option for you. If you aren't sure of ordering these I hope these notes help... If you're going to wear these under dresses and skirts to add to your comfortable level or wear around your house for relaxing and chores, you can't go wrong with these! They are lightweight, comfortable, stretchy, easy, and a wonderful cost friendly option (especially for an item most people won't see). If you are looking to purchase these shorts to wear while working out, shopping, hanging out with friends or running after kids then I think you should look elsewhere. The material isn't see through but it is thin. I do not feel comfortable bending over in these. These shorts are not squatproof! I didn't expect them to I be squatproof but I feel it's important to stress this point for future buyers incase you are looking for that type of coverage. If I was going to wear shorts out in public I would want a thicker material. That said, I am still so happy with this purchase and plan on buying more. If you're looking for comfy, lightweight, easy shorts, you have found the ones you need.

Typical nice looking bike short but cotton in it keeps you from getting too hot.

Best buy if you are a bigger lady like me l would highly recommend these shorts so comfy and they last and don't wear thin between the thighs

I bought these in 2022 and they were only $12.. my invoice doesn't show any discount. Not sure why they are so expensive now. They are good, they are comfortable, but they are worth $12. I wore them for 2 summers, but now the seams are coming apart in the thighs. The fabric is soft but thin overall. They are best wor under dresses but the fabric of the dress will stick to them. Perhaps they have increased in a quality and that's why the price is so much more..?
