Tac-Ti-Cool (My Eye Twinkled)
PURCHASE DATE: 01MAR17PRICE PAID: $99.95REVIEW DATE: 26MAR18I noticed some reviews on here are lengthy and for that mine is just straight to the point. No boring fluff. My job requires light in low light or no light conditions. So I own a lot of flashlights. I decided to compare the following lights for fun:1) Streamlight Stinger (800 Lumens) ($118)2) Streamlight ProTac HL USB (850 Lumens) ($100)3) OLight M2R (1500 Lumens) ($100)I tested all three inside of a shooting range (40 feet wide by 25 yards long) with no lights (pictures shown). I then tested the Streamlight ProTac and OLight M2R under high stress shooting scenarios. I did not want to bore you with all options of each so I only took photos of the highest Lumen output on each. The OLight M2R took the prize in my opinion. If you see the attached pictures you can notice how to M2R floods the range and you can even see the side walls and details. Once you get the hang of how to switch between modes you can do it in the dark without looking. For its size, options, features, and magnet charging capability on to go it is awesome. Pocket easy. Under high stress you can activate the light with ease even with gloves on.The "Enhanced Tactical Mode" activates the strobe after a full down press. I was able to get rounds on target.6 Options for this light:1) Moonlight Mode (1 Lumen) = 25 Days Constant Run Time2) Low Mode (15 Lumens) = 70 Hours3) Medium 2 Mode (60 Lumens) = 20 Hours4) Medium 1 Mode (250 Lumens) = 6 Hours & 15 Minutes5) High Mode (700 Lumens) = 2 Hours6) Turbo Mode (1,000 - 1,500 Lumens) = 2 Hours & 3 Minutes. (1500 Lumens) can only run for a maximum of 3 Minutes. The side switch has a red LED that will activate when the battery is running low.If anything arises I will update this review.PLEASE NOTE: I do these reviews to help people out. JUNK M2R O-Light and O-Light will not respond
I purchased a new M2R Tactical Flashlight that never worked properly and now has stopped work after 2 months.I’ve been calling the O-Light advertised phone number (770) 779-7156! Customer Service, Warranty and Sales department all voicemail boxes say "The voicemail box is full" and then hangs up on me.I've also eMailed them and again there is no response! :(It a mistake on my part to purchase an O-light as they do not appear to be a reputable company that will respond to my defected $99 flash light?

Perfect for Everyday Use!
The M2R Warrior is my 4th flashlight from Olight. While I have not had this one very long, it’s quickly becoming my favorites from Olight. It’s direct access to Turbo mode (1,500 Lumens) via the newly designed tail cap is a prominent feature that I’m sure everyone will love. My other Olight flashlights consist of the H2R Nova – Cool White Model (2,300 Maximum Lumens), S1R Baton – Turbo S Model (900 Maximum Lumens), and a great keychain model, the I3E EOS – Blue Model (90 Maximum Lumens). The light comes with all the standard items you would expect from a light of this caliber:1. M2R Warrior – “Cool White” Model Flashlight providing 1,500 Lumens on Turbo Mode (in "Enhanced Tactical Mode") and 1,000 Lumens on “Standard Mode”2. Battery – 3.6 Volt 3,500mAh in the 18650 form factor. This is the same battery that Olight uses in the massive Olight X7R Marauder uses (although, it uses four of them)3. Belt Holster – It has a nice softly padded interior for protecting the light while on your belt4. Wrist Strap – Olight refers to this as a lanyard and unless you have a head the size of an apple, it’s a wrist strap5. Multi-directional Removable Pocket Clip – You can mount it in two places on the light.6. USB Magnetic Charging Cable – Olight does not include a USB charging block. So, you will need one of those. If you are like me, you have multiple of these things laying around. Olight says you can also use your computer to charge it. Although, I’m hesitant to do that.7. User Manual – In 18 different languages8. A brochure that is featuring quick stats on several 2017 released Olight flashlightsLet’s talk brightness! Turbo Mode (1,500 Lumens) is quite bright. While it’s not as bright as my H2R Nova with 2,300 Lumens on Turbo Mode, the M2R Warrior provides a more concentrated spot on the output. Whereas, the H2R provides much more of a broad output with no visible spot. With the M2R Warrior providing more of a spot, in my opinion is more useful for searching small spaces or looking for lost objects vs walking on a trail. One thing to note is that to fully utilize the 1,500 Lumen Turbo Mode, the light must be in “Enhanced Tactical Mode” (more on that later). Some of my favorite features revolve around Olight’s new tail cap for this model. It features a quiet momentary button with two levels of touch pressure (“Soft Press” & “Deep Press”.) Soft Press is just that, a gentle press of the tail cap button. Deep Press requires a bit more pressure to fully depress the button. Another feature of the tail cap is that its configurable. You can configure the button as “Standard Mode” or “Enhanced Tactical Mode”. Standard Mode provides users with momentary access to a 1,000 Lumen Turbo Mode on the Soft Press and constant 1,000 Lumen Turbo Mode on the Deep Press. Enhanced Tactical Mode provides users with the 500 more Lumens that make up the momentary 1,5000 Turbo Mode on the Soft Press. However, on the Deep Press, Strobe mode is activated. The configuration is easy to change by Deep Pressing the tail cap button and pressing the side button once. The side button provides users with a couple useful features besides the standard features of turning the light on and off, cycling thru brightness levels, locking the flashlight out, etc. The first is that it serves as a low battery indicator. There is a small red LED that turns on when the battery is low. Secondly, it the LED turns red if the flashlight is on Lockout Mode. Finally, there is a little “nub” on the button to help your thumb feel exactly where it is.With all this, I think Olight nailed it with this light. The light output is right in the range where the High Mode (700 Lumen) is bright enough for most situations. However, if needed, you have direct access to the 1,500 Lumen Turbo Mode via that new tail button. I plan on keeping this light as my primary light for everyday use for the unforeseen future.I’m going to try to preform additional testing on how the run times that are advertised in the manual and on the website, stack up against the actual run times. I suspect they are pretty accurate. However, I’ll update this with that information once complete.

Best 1,500 lumens flashlight on the market.
This is my third Olight Flashlight, and it's the best one so far. I use the S1R Baton (http://amzn.to/2z4pdPF) when traveling because it's tiny, powerful and well built. My second one was the S30R III (http://amzn.to/2xCxrCD) which is powerful (1,000 lumens) but still compact. However, this one has become my favorite one for serious work outside at night. It's a bit heavier and larger than the S30R III, but packs more features and power (1,500 Lumens). It has dual buttons (tail cap button and side button). I'm not a fan of tail cap buttons, but I recognize they can be handy in certain situations. The tail cap button can be used to quickly enter turbo mode or to enter strobe mode (when setup accordingly). The side button is the main one, it has a small led indicator that lights up when battery is low or when in locked mode. Also, it's used to cycle through the different light modes (Low, Med1, Med2, High and Turbo). The instructions are clear and operation is intuitive. Built quality is top notch. One of my favorite features is the magnetic charging cable. It's more compact than what was included with previous models and works great. It even has a side LED that lights up red when charging and green when fully charged.
