This book explores the lifespan of a woman who had to overcome many obstacles inside and outside of her family. Things that people think are innocent and harmless can have lasting effects on our future generations. If the past is hidden and kept in the dark, the youth of tomorrow can’t understand the mistakes being made today. This book is easy to read and engaging throughout. I’m glad that I read this book so I can take a closer look at my own family and try to understand how I can do things differently. This book is a must have in your book collection.

My initial reason for reading this book was to get to know more about the author, her personal journey and her perspective about life. I had no idea that my healing in my own personal life would get a boost. She lead me on an emotional rollercoaster of laughs and cries. She showed me no matter where you come from or when you came from, problems have no prejudice. The only difference is how we choose to see and handle the situation. She is an inspiration to me and I am sure many more. Many thanks for sharing your personal stories in hopes that you can connect and help others. You sure did that for me.

This book tells a story of the intriguing life of the author who withstood the test of time and made it through her childhood struggles of being abused by a demon with various personalities. It tells how abuse comes in many forms and fashions and describes what happens when family dysfunction plays a big part in child and adult abuse. It can help the reader and show them the way of overcoming their own childhood and adult demons.

I know this author personally. I know her to be a very prestige and classical women. This book is a reflection of her love for life and the strength from which is alive in her today.
