The fact that you have to wonder if it is genuine, nice but not 2K nice !

I had ordered this watch, without the day feature from another online retailer (Jomashop). That was a nightmare transaction and I would not recommend buying from Jomashop. My original watch from Jomashop came in not working as the automatic winding was not working and it was easy to see why when looking at the back of the watch where the automatic winding is visible. The rotor never moved, which is needed for the automatic winding to work. I sent it back but had to have American Express get involved. With Jomashop if you have no issues then they are a good deal but if you have issues with anything it turns into a customer service nightmare. I found this watch, with the day feature, being sold from Amazon several hundred less than any other online retailer. I felt more comfortable buying a non-authorized dealer watch from Amazon than they other online shops. I bring this up as when you see a watch on Amazon make sure its from Amazon and not from another retailer, at least that is my recommendation.Now for a review of this watch. It is simply stunning in look and feel. This one works well and came on time from Amazon. It came in original box and was packaged nice. From the band to the watch itself, this watch feels and looks great. Out of the box I manually wound the watch about 40-50 times to give it full power and then wore it for eight hours to make sure the watch is initiated in the self winding feature. The band on this watch is very nice but a little stiff. Hopefully it will loosen up over time but out of the box it is stiff. The leather band is nice and has a soft elegant look that will look great with suits, long sleeve shirts, or even short sleeve. The steel case is smooth and polished, and the watch face is a beautiful silver gold. Tag calls it silver but I would call it silver gold. Either way it an awesome color for my taste. Outside of Movado black faces I'm not a fan of dark watch faces so this watch is perfect. The hour markers and watch hands have a beautiful shine. I was a little worried about the 41mm size as I have a small 6.5 inch wrist but this watch fits well and does not look to big.At full retail price this is an expensive watch, at Amazon prices it is more affordable and hopefully if there are any issues Amazon and its warranty provider will serve the customer well. I'm not hard on watches so I expect this to be a great watch for years to come. If you like rich and elegant watches this watch is well worth checking out at this price. I love mine and keep wanting to check the time just to see how beautiful it looks.***update***I had an issue with my watch after about 2 weeks. The watch was sitting for a few days so I manually wound the watch and during that it sounded like the spring released. The watch worked for a few hours and then stopped. I could not get the watch started again so I had to return to Amazon with the 30 day return window. This watch, and many other automatic watches, have safety features so you can't over wind the watch so I don't believe I over wound the watch. Amazon was great in the return process and provided a full refund. I ended up going to a local authorized dealer to purchase similar Tag watch for more but with guaranteed authorized dealer TAG warranty. Wasn't fun paying more but it was nice to have the assurance that if something goes wrong after 30 days that the local watch store can repair or send back to Tag for service.

Looked at this watch in numerous retailers overseas as I really liked it, but prices on Amazon were far better. Watch gives you both date, day of week and clear seconds markings. Thought I had a problem when day of week was in French, but all you do is change it to the next turn and its in English. Wris band is leather but it is a quick click fastening . Automatic winding through wrist movement.A year later. As it keeps stopping on me and I have to reset frequently, I have sent it to the Amazon warranty 5-6 times and they keep telling me the watch is fine, I have kept detailed logs of my useage and a few times worn ny fitbit charge watch to tell the warranty provider of my mileage of walking while wearing the Tag Heuer. I am to the point of going to Louis Vuitton(sp?) which owns the brand and sold the watch to Amazon,
