Wood frame splinters (update)
Previous comment: Wood frame dangerously splinters. When my 4 year old was trying to clean the board she ended up with a large splinter stuck to her end from the frame.Update: Quickly after the previous review comment identified the issue the company reached out to provide a full refund with apologies. They indicated the importance of the product quality for them and demonstrated this with the refund offer. Overall, I would trust the company with this kind of attention to their quality and customer service again to purchase a product.

Had for 31 days just past the return window and the chalkboard is separating from the back
The media could not be loaded. The chalkboard is separating from the back. I did not notice this until now. I have had this one day past the return window! So dissapointed

Surface Warps, Dissappointed
The media could not be loaded. This is only the second negative review I’ve written in thousands of items I’ve purchased from Amazon. When the box arrived (carefully packaged), I was surprise by how light it was.After opening I noticed that the board is not a single, solid surface but a layer of thin chalkboard material over thin particle board. When I tried to write and erase, the chalkboard surface formed a big bubble that has since spread from top to bottom of the board. I really wanted to like this and thought I got a good deal for $50ish. The wooden frame is thinner than it looked on the pictures too, and overall it just doesn’t feel sturdy. I had one of a similar size for 10 years that I had made by painting a giant glass thrift store picture frame with chalkboard paint, and it was solid and heavy, easy to erase. I wish I had just done that again instead of purchasing this.

Incredible company! Great product!
I received my blackboard which was beautiful except for a scratch. I contacted someone at customer service and was blown away with the quick turn around. Within one day I was contacted by a second rep sent me a replacement without needing to return the damaged board. You can’t go wrong buying from them!

Functionality and good looking!
This was well packaged and got here safely, easy to inbox, came with instructions and hardware to hang. This can be hung two different ways. It is light but well built and sturdy. The magnetic functionality of this chalkboard is flawless. The finish of the chalkboard surface itself feels thick and smooth. It is easy to clean and it adds a great pop of "something special" to my kitchen. We can now easily make lists, keep track of important mail, and leave each other messages that are impossible to miss. This was a fantastic purchase!
