The magnet is not strong enough for my knives. See pics of shape of knives...they have rounded handles and are chunky so the slightest touch carried a risk for the knife to fall down...risk I do not want in the kitchen since I have young children. Maybe if your knives are more square so it has better surface to adhere to it might be fine. I tried to put the knives to hold from the blade as well as handle and I had same issue.Stuck on my tiles fine (only kept them on for few mins before deciding to return so can't comment on the strength of the adhesive since I did not press hard in case i needed to return).

Very weak — I wasn’t expecting neodymium type holding power, but expected this tape to be stronger for how thick and heavy it is. You can sometimes make this type of tape hold better by stroking a magnet over it in the appropriate direction, but it didn’t add much if anything to this, and it wouldn’t even hold a steel rule to my toolbox unless I stuck the ruler lengthways on it.

Came on time one is great at moment but 2nd is not magnetic as items work on 1 but not the other

I didn’t think it would be strong enough to hold anything as it’s just a sticky strip & not screwed in but I was wrong I have 8 knifes & a pair of scissors .

Great but as soon as you put knives on, they fall down. Had to use no more nails to get them to hold weight of knives
