Some work - some do not work!
Makes the ones that work VERY expensive!

I use the ones I still have many times everyday!
I do have problems with occasionally dropping them which most often causes the light not to work anymore and I set them down when I'm away somewhere and forget to pick them up and I misplace them even just around the apartment so I am glad to be able to order more of these wonderful little lighted magnifiers made by Carson.

I bought 1 of these years ago. It is still going strong, but found that EVERYONE wanted to use it. So, I bought more to give others so that they leave mine alone! Bright light! Avoids scratching due to slide cover. Batteries last FOREVER in this thing. Great little gadget!

HANDIEST ITEM IN MY PURSE.
I HAVE LOW VISION AND CANNOT DO WITHOUT THIS CARSON MAGNIFIER. ITS LIGHTWEIGHT AND SMALL ENOUGH TO CARRY IN MY POCKET OR PURSE. THE BEST THING IS ITS ABILITY TO MAGNIFY ITEMS 'FIVE' TIMES ITS ORIGINAL SIZE. HAVE BEEN USING 'CARSON; PRODUCTS FOR OVER 30 YEARS.

it magnifies without mirror effect
it is little larger than i like, easy to hold, magnifies but you have to squint in order to read or vary the distance
