This freaking works
I have bought so many of these recently. I have used it on my kitchen walls, and my wood floor to remove varnish. It does have a smell but idc bc it works like a dream.

Erases bad decisions with spray paint and epoxy
I made a lot of impulsive decisions while doing all the renovations on our Airbnb on one side of our duplex. Most were good or okay decisions. But then came the sink.To put this into context, let’s start at the beginning. I used a very nice countertop paint kit to cover up the hideous counters but it was recommended to seal it with epoxy for extra durability. I had never worked with epoxy before. That is it’s own story... there was epoxy everywhere. Some of it dripped through the taped barriers into the standard silver/metal sink. I tried so many things to get it off. The sound of steel wool on metal was ingratiating. The box cutter approach was dangerous.Meanwhile, I thought the silver/nickel of the kitchen faucet didn’t look right with the now dark counters and the more modern look we were going for. I compared the price of new faucets to spray paint... I obtained a can of black spray paint for metal and taped up the sink once again, perhaps halfheartedly. The faucet looked great! But there was mists of black spray paint that somehow made it on the sink bottom along with a few dribble spots.Feeling lightheaded from the spray paint fumes, i realized how easy it would be to solve the epoxy and spray paint issue by... just spraying the hell out of the sink and making it all black! Genius! It looked pretty good from the start. I sealed it (or tried) with some finish I had that said it was okay on metal. I crossed my fingers and hoped it would last. After our first guests, there was a chip in the sink paint. I grumbled about it — what careless people did that to my sink?? — but drew my weapon of choice once again. Problem solved. Or so I thought...After each guest there were more and more chips, flakes, scratches on my precious paint job. I bought different spray paint. I bought different finishes. I thought, “this will be better” each time. Alas, every effort I made turned out no different than the last. I came to the conclusion that either the sink had to go... or I did.But then a promising idea miraculously came to mind; if MORE paint wasn’t the answer, would removing it altogether be the saving throw? When this paint stripper arrived I am sure the Amazon van driver had no idea what power he was driving around the city with.I was on a time crunch with the next guest arriving in 3 days — would it be long enough to make this work, else fix another disastrous decision? It was enough — more than enough. I slathered on the goo half skeptically, half holding out hope. While the container said it could take several hours to a day and several layers, even the whole container, the layers and layers of various paints and varnishes started to shrivel up to be wiped away and never seen again under the first strokes of stripper. The whole sink was cleaned up and looking like a vessel within you’d actually be willing to was your dishes or hands within 3 hours. It would have been less if I hadn’t taken a break to eat.The grande finale was seeing the edges of those large droplets of epoxy start to curl up. This far exceeded my expectations — even the epoxy cleared up?Even the epoxy.

Doesn’t work
This product was very frustrating. I was trying to paint a bench, taking away the old paint. I left the spray on for a couple hours and didn’t work then I put on more of the product and left it for a day and still did not work… it’s just not tough enough

Worked great, but don't bother with the spray bottle
I purchased this to remove the paint and numbering from a couple vintage steel milk bottle I had purchased. The actual stripper worked very well. It's extremely thick and sticks well to the sides of vertical surfaces. I put it on the stainless steel bottle and left it for a few hours, the paint came right off. I also used it on an older fully painted non-stainless milk jug, that worked well too. In fact, when I realized I hadn't purchased enough to do the second milk bottle, my husband bought some "CitriStrip" from our local home improvement store and that didn't work nearly as well as this, but it didn't make sense to buy more of this until I used that up, I wish I could have. That said - the spray bottle was a mistake. This stuff is super thick, so every time you squirt with the spray bottle, a little bit comes out, then it takes *forever* for the handle to pop back out to spray again. I ended up giving up and just taking the top off and squeezing it onto the surface and spreading it around with my (gloved) finger. I had some disposable nitrile gloves to protect my hands - this stuff will affect the gloves, in that they tear more easily after its been on it, but it doesn't eat through immediately or anything. Note to the manufacturer - this probably wouldn't be an issue if the spray bottle top/tube was sized correctly for the thickness of the fluid.Overall, I would definitely buy this stuff again, but I would just get a half gallon instead of the sprayer. Took 1 star off for the crappy sprayer. Otherwise, a good buy.Note: This review is for "Sunnyside Corporation 68532 Hi-Speed Ready-Strip Citrus Paint & Varnish Remover, Quart Trigger Spray, Assorted", which I purchased in the "Hi-Speed Ready Strip" / "Quart Trigger Spray" style on 4/6/2022.

Messy but effective
3stars, very messy I recommend a clear plastic sturdy cup and a 3inch paint brush. Spray the paste into the cup. Otherwise the sprayer is horrible and can't handle the thick flow. Also, use in a well ventilated area, smell is really strong and not so citrus but chemical. I used on automobile trim pieces and it took several applications to remove clear coat and enamel paint but eventually it worked. Do not let it dry. Wear cotton gloves, don't wear latex medical gloves as solution will eat right through. I used water to clean my brush, ok. Messy but effective.

Effective
This stuff works. It doesn’t really spray per se, but it’s incredibly strong and can remove just about anything, given enough time and coats. I don’t love the smell, but it’s meant to be washed off anyway. I will say, don’t let it get on your skin. It doesn’t just remove paint—it’ll legitimately remove your skin from your hand. However, I recommend it. Nothing else has worked this well.

It works
I needed to strip the top of a large Drexel Heritage dining table. I had to shake and apply the contents onto a rag and then onto the table as the sprayer does not work efficiently but with that being said, I left it on for the 30 minutes and it scraped off pretty easily I was able to do the entire table with relatively no effort, I did go over the area obviously with my sander after I stripped it but this stuff does remove the original finish. I would 100% use this product again.
