Elmer'S Washable Translucent Color Glue, Green, 5 Ounces, Great For Making Slime

Need glue? Like fun colors? Elmer's to the rescue! This is basically the classic school glue that we all know and love, but in a fun, translucent formula. The green glue goes on green. As far as I can tell, it dries green, though I use it for stuff where it doesn't show when the project is done. As the package notes, it's great to use for slime, because it provides the green color without additional coloring ingredients. I am not a slime-maker, but I can see it being very popular for the purpose. Having grown up in the 80s I appreciate the fact that this glue basically looks like Slimer.

It's Elmer's glue - pretty basic although a bit on the expensive side. While the description says 'for making slime' it doesn't have to be used for that, although that seems to be all the kids want to do these days. This works just like regular Elmer's glue - a pretty good adhesive for simple crafts and washes up easily. Having it be colored ahead of time simply means you will have one less ingredient to add if you are making colored slime. We prefer to use the glue that already has glitter in it as it's just more convenient, but this is a nice option as well.

This glue is exciting and fun to make slime out of, but is also great for my 4 year old. He loves to just drizzle it and play with it. I love that it bonds paper, sequins, feathers and other craft supplies very strongly but washes easily. I can get this off of my countertops, kid's clothes, and their hands with just some simple soap and water.

Elmer's makes great glue. It is non-toxic and works in multiple settings. This translucent glue is fun for crafts. It can be used for making slime, though actually the glitter glue is more fun for that With St. Patrick's Day and Easter on the horizon it is a fun way to spur creativity. It is washable and safe. the green is translucent and light. Still recognizable as green but subtle. Great for decorating bunny ears and flowers. A fun product.

Perfect for slime!!! We use these Elmer's translucent color glues (as well as the glitter versions) for slime and they work perfectly.We use a recipe we originally got from an Elmer's slime kit and the slime my kids produce lasts a couple months before beginning to harden. We have tried other glue products for slime recipes but we always go back to these Elmer's ones!!!!
