Great solution for inflatables/small boats
I used this, paired with a Scotty inflatable accessory attachment, and it works well for my inflatable Intex Mariner 4. It allows me to quickly attach my Garmin Striker 4 portable to the boat and remove it when I'm done. I also like how the arm allows you to raise and lower the probe depending on if you're using it or not. Surprising it was very solid in the water and even on my inflatable had very little movement, even going 5mph in the water.

Functional transducer mount.
Using this to mount a transducer on a kayak. A little flimsy but functional for what it is designed to do, but half the price of similar transducer mounts. I didn't need the included locking side deck mount (241L) because I already have 5 installed on my kayak. Wish they sold this without that part because it accounts for about half the price of the whole assembly, but it is what it is. I also didn't see the need for the plastic wing nut thumb screws. I chose not to use them, but rather once adjusted for my fishfinder application, I just used the bolts in the kit without the plastic wing nuts to secure the arm together. Once the transducer is set, there is no further need for further adjustments. The locking side deck mount easily allows for the arm to be rotated into a stow/transport position without the need for adjustments to length, so again, no need for the plastic wing nuts. Overall a functional transducer mount, but it could be sold with fewer pieces at a reduced price point.

Works well with my setup.
I've used this mount a couple times and so far it's working out well with my setup. The mount is all plastic and seemed a little flimsy in the fully extended position. Fortunately I am able to collapse it, which makes it sturdier. I do wish the final piece that connects to the transducer was a bit thicker / sturdier as it seems like it will be the weak point in this setup. I did 3D print an extension to get the mount to swing over the side of my inflatable kayak properly. I don't think this would be an issue on a hard shell kayak. Overall I am happy with my purchase, especially since I got it on sale.

Works like a charm
I got this for my jon boat. I mounted it on the front of the boat and was concerned with it being to flimsy with me running around the lake but it does really good with 2 electric trolling motors that equal about 60 pounds of thrust wide open. Dont know how it would do with a gas motor but I like how you can easily flip it up out of the water when I am river fishing and get up around some sticks and logs in the water. The only thing I wish that it had which I though I was going to need but didnt was an extension. I would have rather paid a few extra dollars to have had it included in the kit. Other than that great buy and cheaper here than the big box fishing mega store.

So good I bought two
This is much better than sticking it through the scupper hole and risk dragging your transducer across gravel. For me, this actually sits low enough that I can use my side imaging sonar, instead of putting it inside the hole and only getting down imaging. It does cause a little bit of drag, but not enough to even deduct a star. I'm actually working on a little bit of a design to put something around it to make it a little bit more smooth and the current. I have a trolling motor on my kayak, so I don't worry about that too much anyway. I miss installed on a ocean big game prowler and a Vibe see ghost 1:30. One thing to mention is when you pull it out, don't forget to push the little button. Lol. The first time I went to remove it I was getting frustrated till my friend realized that there is a button. Holds it very firm, so I don't worry about losing it.

Exactly what I needed
It’s a little awkward to use in my bass raider, but that has nothing to do with the quality. I’m a big fan of this.
