Perfect for small kitchens
Bought this to go in our small studio apartment rental unit. Not much countertop space, this hangs on the backsplash above the sink. Holds plenty of dishes and flatware. Good solid sturdy quality.

The answer to your questions about its size. Better than Ikea's. Stronger. Cheaper. Better stainless finish
Here's the answers you've been looking for.1. The 3.9" measurement in the seller's pictures is wrong. It is plenty deep to hold large Corelle pasta bowls as you can see in my picture. In fact, in the one picture it is holding my entire set of Corelle dishware, service for 4 with an added pasta bowl to demonstrate the capacity.2. You will need to purchase a bar/rail to hang it from. Mine is hanging from an 18" IKEA Ektorp rail in the pictures I had previously.3. This rack is stronger than IKEA's and has the removable drip catcher which is great since mine doesn't hang over the sink.4. In the description the seller refers to the tray as "warped." What they mean is that the rack tilts slightly toward the back to hold the dishes securely.5. The seller has a limited grip of English and a complete inability to use a measuring tape BUT this is a great product. I'm a big fan of IKEA but am glad I bought this one.6. It costs a lot less than IKEA's version but is better made and stronger.7. I was surprised at how small the package was when it arrived but this thing is very compact when folded.I paid full price for this and it is worth every penny. I always ignore reviews by people who got the thing for free so here's a real review from someone who got a little pissed off at the stupid answers in the questions. The seller needs to contract a real English speaker to write their copy and answer questions and quit addressing people as "my friend."

HANDY & PRACTICAL SPACE-SAVER
We installed this rack over the kitchen sink and it works very well. Love the concept of "putting it away" by folding the bottom part up when it's not in use. Compact, neat & tidy, IMO.The product is well-designed and well-made except for the plastic tray to catch the drips. The tray arrived a bit warped, so it didn't sit in the frame/holder squarely. I was hoping this issue would be fixed naturally over time, but it hasn't. Also, when the rack is folded up for storage, the tray often slips out of the frame since there's no clip or hook to keep it in place, which I found unsightly and annoying. However, overall, it's a very practical drying rack to consider if you don't have a lot of counter space to place a regular counter-top drying rack. Yes, I'd recommend it others.

Efficient Dish Rack
I love this collapsable drying rack. I hang it on a shelving unit on my kitchen countertop. Love that it has a drainboard and hooks for miscellaneous stuff. And it's stainless steel so it won't rust and looks sleek.

good quality and design
I bought this for a sailboat galley. With limited counter space, hanging the dishes drying rack seemed to be a good option. My boat is in the Caribbean, so hot and humid is a constant and pretty much everything that is not marine grade turns out bad after a month or two. This thing is still there, with no rust at all. (so definitely stainless steel)Also, I like the fact that this doesn't open 90 degrees. The angle is smaller, which at the beginning seemed little odd, but I found out that it helps prevent dishes, cups and pans from falling (even at dock sometimes the wind can shake a bit). Also, it holds stuff better when I pile things on top of others, like pans and cups. The plastic tray under it is also made of a good quality plastic and can hold a good amount of water.

Great for small spaces

Pick something else
It fit my space well enough, but the rack and drain board are always at an angle. This makes it difficult for the dishes to stay put. Also, the water catch tray then overflows onto your counter.
