Bought for 8 year old son who was interested in playing the drums. I didn't want to buy a full drum set just yet, in case he would change his mind. This set is lightweight and perfect for a beginner who is just trying it out. Great quality sound as well, and the headphones that come with it are decent too.

My boyfriend used to play drums his entire life and has been away from music for over 10 years. Needless to say he absolutely loved his gift. It comes with 2 sets of sticks that are really good quality and the sound is great and authentic.

Our 7-year-old Louisiana grandson has been taking drum lessons for the past year and we wanted something for him to practice with at home. A large drum set takes up too much space and he would quickly grow out of the child-sized ones. We weren’t ready to splurge on an electric drum set either. So this portable, electric drum set seemed to be the best fit for him currently.Upon opening it, the set was ready to go! The sound quality seems good after an hour of play. My son likes that each drum is color-coordinated to help with differentiating the sounds. We love that it is portable and look forward to using it on long road trips in the future. Also, our 3-year grandson of the same family gets just as much enjoyment out of the product!Regarding cons for this product: our son ditched the earbuds that came with the set, and uses his own set of headphones. Occasionally, the set will become glitchy and produce multiple drum beats if the drum stick is left on the drum area too long (which can be annoying).Other than that it is a great product for beginners and children alike!

This is a great product for kids and people who want to play around with the drum pads.It is not a practice unit for a serious drummer. The electronics and the plastic feel cheap and there is the occasional delay between hitting and hearing.
