Will this work with CAT6 cables?

Short answer: "sort of". It's not the best for larger cable sizes. I *have* used it for a CAT 5 cable but I had to press down on the cutter side to stop it sliding around. So I did manage it but its not straightforward as a simple core wire strip. Works brilliantly for solid core and multi-strand cores up to about 1.5mm. Over that you get the cutter side not gripping properly.
