I am allergic to most hair products. The gel makes my head a little itchy but the shampoo and conditioner are winners.

Scent is not the most “glamorous”, but that’s basically the point. No extra scents or additives in this product. It’s definitely helpful if you have an allergic reaction to all the new products that claim to be better for your hair. Have used for 2+ months and have not noticed any negative impacts. Goes to show the expensive/high end products I used for years, weren’t all that great after all. Choose F&C over the expensive stuff and save yourself some $.

Ive struggled for years trying to find a good shampoo for my scalp as anything with any scent makes my scalp breakout. Been using this for a couple months now and have never seen my scalp this healthy let alone my hair in amazing condition. The Gel has an off putting smell to me which is why I gave 4 and not 5 stars. Otherwise I couldn’t be happier!

I have been using this shampoo for years, recommended by my dermatologist when my scalp was itchy..love the shampoo and conditioner. I didn’t realize the hair gel came with the shampoo and conditioner..I think I thought I was getting two conditioners. Anyway , I tried it and I am not a fan of gels, period. My hair always feels heavy when I use it which makes me want to wash my hair again. So I cant recommend the gel but the shampoo and conditioner are the only product I use!

Even if an item is labeled free and clear, sometimes it really isn't. The ingredients may not include fragrance, but the components may have a smell or the shampoo may smell like chemicals. As an asthmatic, perfumed scents trigger me so I read all labels carefully. I tried this shampoo based on previous reviews when Whole Foods was out of 365 Fragrance Free Shampoo, my go to for years. It is thick and rich like an expensive shampoo and does not have any smell. I used the first bottle and was so pleased that I reordered.
