There is a strange sounding noise when in the spinning to start the motor. It does work ok but kind of worried about the noise , hope the starter will last. The warranty is only a month. Breaking news, update, took the starter back off to inspect it a little closer. The shaft end that slides into the engine is different from the old one that was taken off. Meaning the grooves are not cut far enough back. To correct this issue I had to add an eight of an inch spacer that would stop the starter from entering the engine case all the way. Without the spacers this starter would not last very long and could damage the flywheel gear. The spacers on both bolts that hold the starter on is the fix, it now works find. This issue was time consuming Without knowing the problem, I have the 2006 Honda Rancher 350 cc.

says it is for a 2003 honda 350 rancher and the pic looks just like mine but what was shipped is nothing like mine!
