Excellent.. heavy duty

I had 4" casters from a competitor (HF) on a workbench, 2 fixed and 2 swivel but no locking mechanism. I just needed 2 locking swivel casters but it's almost cheaper to buy these 4, so I did. These are much nicer wheels, locks. unlocks easily, are the exact same height as other brand, and they fit the same hole pattern (bonus). They appear durable and are very quiet, I will buy again if I need more IF they hold up, which I expect they will.Update: In reference to a posted question about if you can leave these outdoors, I attached a photo showing the exposed bearing and cup. Eventually this will be your first area to rust and you'd lose the swivel functionas they are not stainless steel or galvanized.

I have several ship tools that I put on bases with wheels. The first set was the Lowe’s 3 inch. I can hardly get 75lb machines to roll on these bases and the locks are impossible unless you are wearing steel toed shoes. There are amazing. The cart that I put them on is my workshop cart and it weighs several times what my other tools weigh. It moves effortlessly and set the brakes by foot or hand is simple, the same with releasing. I will be replacing the Lowe’s wheels with these on 6 carts plus a new one I am building.

I got these casters because they have locks and that they were big enough to provide clearance and stability. These casters as shown were installed on an audio rack in our church fellowship hall.They were easy to install. I drilled holes with a step drill and mounted the casters with 5/16" carriage bolts.The rack lives in the corner but gets moved to different parts of the room for different events. The rack fully loaded easily weighs 100 lbs so much lower than the weight limit. It now moves fairly easily despite the limited range of movement due to the skirting on the rack.Really happy, I am sure that i made a good choice by picking this item.

I will be using these on all my garage tool stands that I'm making (bandsaw stand picture attached). I like that the wheels are flatter (not like skate wheels) and roll over the cracks in my garage and driveway a lot easier. The swivel locks along with rolling and the brake levers are easy to push and disengage.Yes, there ARE cheaper caster sets available, but these have LOTS of 5-star reviews and now I know why. These are well made and very strong. Roll nicely.Casters came with mounting bolts, washers and nuts for attachment to metal tables/stands, but you'll need to use something longer for mounting them to 3/4" plywood cabinet casings.

Sturdy, smooth, solid brake, overall very pleased! Put four of these on a new miter saw stand that is quite heavy. Approx 58" wide by 24" deep, and four are very sufficient and still very easy for my daughter to easily roll across the garage. Very pleased - will likely be buying more to swap out with other lower quality casters in my workshop.
