Soft, comfortable, and will get hot!
Nice sleeping bag heater. Definitely want to have a spare battery bank. I used a Hart 20v inverter with 4Ah battery and on medium it lasted over 6 hours. I'm sure it'll last the night on warm. Tried the high level and got way too hot to sleep, lol.

Keeps you warm in a sleeping bag
I would have given it 5 stars but it would not work with my phone charger in an outlet. It just flashes through red, blue green led. Once I connected it to my laptop it worked fine. It also worked fine my my SUV which I slept in when I went hunting. Keeps the bag warm. The only problem is as I toss and turn the pad gets out of position. Not sure anything can be done about that. All in all a good product.

Heat When You Need It
Bought this for a gift to be used to help keep warm at sporting events. I've gotten burned a few times buying things on Amazon and not being able to return them because the window to do so passed. This has led me to test the products right away to make sure I'm getting what I pay for. That being said...Haven't tried it out in the cold yet, but it heated up nice inside the house. I used a 5V, 3.1A charger to power up the blanket. Within 5 minutes I could feel it heating up, but it wasn't real warm. After another few minutes, nothing seemed to change so I pressed down on the blanket and then I could really feel the heat. I suspect that it'll work for what I bought it for, but do think it'll work best under a blanket and wrapped snuggly. I'll post an update if needed. I'd buy it again.

Did not work while camping
I bought this product because I was going winter camping at Yosemite. When I tried it at home, it seemed to warm up but not as much even in the hottest setting. And when I used it at the camping site, it never got warm despite having a fully charged power bank. Sadly, the return period has passed so I’ll have to see how I can troubleshoot it at home or give up on it.

Perfect for what it is.
I’ve been using this for winter car camping and it has been fantastic. While it doesn’t produce an immense amount of heat, it produces enough to keep you toasty in an insulated sleeping bag. It’s also very good on battery life when paired with my Jackery Explorer 290.I use it with a big Agnes bag and pad and it is the perfect compliment to the setup. The pad attaching material on the sleeping bag keeps the heated pad topper sandwiched between the bag and pad. The button for the heat control sits perfectly in a corner cutout of the sleeping bag pad-connecting material for easy access during the night. And, since the BA bags have only a thin layer of material on the bottom where it connects to the pad for weight savings, the heated sleeping pad topper essentially sits right up against your back, keeping your nice and warm.Highly recommend - especially if you own a Big Agnes sleeping bag (or another brand with similar features).

Works okay
This works okay, but it never got hot. I will use it again and it helped camping in the cold.

1 out of 2 equals nothing
Edit 2/8/24 the seller was quick to contact me and make right. Second blanket arrived very quickly and worked great. This will be great for sleeping on top of in our tent bedding.Original——The blanket has two elements requiring two different power sources to heat the full blanket. Only 1/2 works on mine. Tried swapping battery packs and the good side works with any source and the bad side does not work at all. It’s outside of return window during first use due to it being a gift. Would not recommend. If it DID work it would be a good sleeping for camping.

No changing
Love the idea. Love the blanket. The only catch is each side has a cord and each side has to be CONSISTENTLY CONNECTED to power(and not those little phone chargers. It doesn't come with a battery pack.I used a diesel truck/semi truck jump pack at full charge and plugged both sides of the blanket in. Lasted about two hours before the whole battery was drained. That's a LOT of power to charge a blanket for two hours. And you can only use the blanket if you have the battery connected. So figure that whatever you are using to charged this is taking up space in your bag/bed.Have fun.

Perfect For SUV Camping
I almost didn't make the purchase because of all the poor reviews. However, I believe the issue here for most people is that their expectations are way too high.Note: This is a USB heating pad; not a DC or AC heated blanket. The unit only draws 9 watts on the highest/hottest setting. It does not produce anywhere close to the amount of heat that a DC or AC heated blanket would produce at 50-100 watts; HOWEVER, that is NOT its intended purpose! This is a "heated sleeping bag pad" that is supposed to be used... well... INSIDE of a sleeping bag. Therefore, the little heat that it does generate is supposed to get trapped in the sleeping bag keeping everything insulated. In that use-case, it works amazingly.I am using it a bit differently. I have this on top of a tri-fold mattress in an SUV with a fitted sheet on top to keep it in place — it does not move at all like this. Next, I use a blanket on top to keep everything insulated, much like a sleeping bag would. It works PERFECTLY in this fashion as well. Hope this helps!

Excellent for odd off grid, Camping
Purchase this for fall camping - off grid. It’s fabulous for keeping the bed cosy and also can be used as a wrap-up with on cool evenings; while enjoying the forest and stars! The charge holds well.

I returned it
This would probly work good for a couple but not az good for a single person. The heating squares are only about 4 inches by 4 inches there are 5 down each side but for some one that will sleep in the middle of the blanket you will not be on the elements. The space between the elements from side to side is huge.

Not so good
After 2 winters ans maybe 6 use, I can tell that it's not working so well now, problem is, the power button become super hot but not the wired inside the sheet. I use the recommended battery watts and voltage and I also talk to amazon customer service and they did not proposed me a replacement 😔 So thats why the 1 star, I like the idea of usb heated blanket but looks like they don't survived 6 nights.
