I rolled it up to put it on and gently moved it on

Yes, the one I ordered has a strip of velcro loops sewn into the back of the cover that lines up with the velcro hooks on the Poang chair frame

I too wanted the head rest. Mine came sewed shut so I couldn't even get any headrest into the seat cover. I returned mine for that reason.
