This is NOT just a gardening book. This is a gardeners bible to growing with the aid of covers. If you want to extend your growing season but don’t know where to start... start by buying this book. It’s all in here, everything you want/need to know about growing with covers for pest/sun/frost protection. She added a monthly ‘planner’ section with ideas for each month of the year and what you can do to help prepare for your growing season. Another great section focuses on specific plants and plant families with all kinds of tips and information on growing them ‘under cover’!If you’ve read Nikis other books then you already know what to expect... excellence. This book will be a reference for years to come not just a read once and ignore. There is so much great information and awesome photos. Beginner or seasoned expert this book is for you!

Great book
I like what Nikki has put into this book. Loads of pictures and good reading material. She adds info on what to grow but it was weak on cultivars. Perhaps for new edition? Can't wait until her next book!

Perfect Book for Canadian Gardeners!
Not cheap for a paperback but a treasure throve of gardening information for the new weather. The climate is getting hotter and new pests and diseases are surfacing. So much help with different ways of coping with problems in an ecological way. I'm extremely pleased.

So many ideas, so little time
I tend to collect Gardening books. Some I browse through and look at the photos. This is one that I am actually reading and putting to good, practical use. Ms Jabbour knows her stuff and presents it well.
