This little product has saved my bacon on numerous occasions. It actually collects the colored dye that's floating around inside the washing machine and keeps it from adhering to the rest of the clothes. I have a gold colored towel set that I have had for over 15 years and it still bleeds out gold dye. Well, somehow one of the gold hand towels ended up in my white laundry load. This little color catcher absorbed all that color bleed and saved my full load of whites. I especially use it when washing new clothing because you never know how bad the color bleed is going to be. I use them in every load of laundry I wash. I believe they would be great if you are using a public laundry mat because you never know what the person ahead of you just washed in the machine. Delivered promptly. I use these any time I wash a load that I think might have any dye bleed. I would never combine whites and darks in a load, so cannot attest to them allowing whites to come out white when washed with blacks.

Years ago I came across the Shout ColorCatchers and they have save many of color bleeds. These are an absolute must have for all loads of laundry. Honestly, you can cut the sheets into 3's and get more for your money out of the sheets. Perfect to have for baby laundry so that you don't have to separate the colors and wash only a few pieces of clothing at a time.

I had never noticed any fragrance in the multiple boxes of Shout Color Catcher I’ve purchased in the past, but this one stinks! Due to fragrance sensitivities, I never purchase anything with added fragrance. It was delivered on a 90+ degree day, so that could have been the problem, so I let the closed box sit in an out of the way area for several days.GREAT NEWS! After washing a few items with Shout sheet that was stinky when dry, there was no noticeable smell when pieces came out of washer!
