(2) DJ Pro Lighting 10 Foot Crank Light Stand & (2) Square Truss T-Bar Adapter

I have some heavier stands about 75 lbs. each. I needed something not as heavy but still pretty sturdy. I was considering getting the goalpost truss, and I may still, but I think I will try this with the truss as it goes up higher and I am pretty sure I can do the setup and teardown myself.I have not tried these yet at a gig, but I did set them up in my studio. But they seem very well built. The sender ensured that my part arrived when I needed it and was very responsive throughout the ordering and delivery process.

The outer box and the item boxes inside were torn up. Cheap cardboard.On the tops of the stands there are caps that were smashed in and ripped in half. I had to tear them off to get the tops on.It's a little challenge to move the tripod legs but they do spread really wide.The crank is easy to raise but not to lower. You need weight on it to lower it properly or else when you crank it down the wire will can get messed up.The opening on the crank mechanism where the wire comes out is huge so you have to be careful not to drop anything in there (bolts, dirt, etc.).It has a good weight to it. No instructions were included.It comes with two Wing Screws. One is to lock the raised portion of the crank. You'll have to look for the part you screw it into. Looks like a welded nut. You also get a locking pin on a tether to secure the post after it's raised. One side of the tether has a loop. Put your wing screw through that loop and screw it into the nut. Let the locking pin hang until you need to use it, then tighten the wing nut and slide the pin into a hole in the post. The other Wing Screw is to secure the tripod legs after you spread them.

Works fine after 4 uses

Came down to spending $600 for DuraTruss (DT3800) stands and T bar attachment to hold our 12' - heavily lighted- Truss...and so far -after one gig- we are very pleased with our purchase of the Cedarslink stands at half the price. Would have liked some type of instructions that provide company recommendations on maintaing the stands ( for instance what type of lubrication to use and how often, or trouble shooting guide for cable issues if any are encountered, etc.) but nothing is in the box except the stands and T Bar attachment. If you need a solid Truss stand and are looking to get one at a very fair price- this is a great choice. The box for the 2 of them weighed 69lbs.

Good combo of size, height, and weight. Very stable for putting 2 televisions 12 feet in the air.

I use it for my Dj events. Was very surprised on how well it works and the quality of the stands. Best purchase I’ve made this year! Would recommend it to any one who need a good reliable truss stand. Can’t beat the price either!

When I received my stands, the packaging was all torn up and smashed on one end, on both packages( i ordered four stands). A few of the caps were broken, or missing, but all in all they work as advertised; and yes, they will work as speaker stands. They are a bit heavy for speaker stands but they will work
