The picture shows a golden retriever on the scale making you think it's big enough for one. The scale is only about 3 times the size of a bathroom scale. My golden is a standard size and he can only get his front 2 paws on it. I kept the scale because I have a basset puppy who I want to make sure does not get overweight. I am disappointed, however, that it does not work for both.

Bought this scale because my wife is a dog trainer and has to take weights of her board and train dogs every couple of days. We have discovered that every now and again the scale reads wrong, pretty noticeably - by about 10 pounds. Have attempted to reposition it in case it wasn’t sitting flat, but that clearly wasn’t the problem. The only solution is to remove the batteries and start over. The buttons (if you can call them that) located on the top of the scale hardly work at all when you need them to, but also have a neat way of always reacting to dogs paws. I wouldn’t recommend this scale for anyone wanting to use it for high traffic animal use, or anyone that may want to use the buttons, or anyone that might want to have an accurate idea of whatever the correct weight of who or whatever they are weighing is.

the dog scale is good the only problem is that when the scale gets its final weight it flashes on the final weight but not it dont flashes the final weight ,i turned it off and back on and it still dont do the final weight,is there a shop in our city that i can have it check up. email address is hollyqueen14@yahoo.com

Does not read the weight anymore all I get are broken lines going across the screen. Cheap and not worth it fir my grooming salon.
