Ten year old loves this shield. It is holding up very well considering 3 boys are playing with it.

My son lives it, it's thick and sturdy and will last him in his endeavors!

Great looking shield for a decent price, I was expecting lower quality and this is great! The silver paint smells at first but goes away after it airs out

I bought this to mount on the wall not necessarily for cosplay or LARPing purposes. The shield came creased. Bent on the corners and the bottom, and the paint job is horrible. Some of the yellow paint is on the blue and visa versa. The elastic straps on the back are so worn out and it would be impossible for the average person to hold it with without wrapping the excess around their hand. Supposed to be a new product. Seems like it was usedDo not buy!!!

I don’t think we got the right product. This is super thin, cheap plastic trash like you’d get as an accessory with a cheap Halloween costume. I’ll happily change the review if an actual foam shield of decent quality ever arrives to replace it.

It's a nice dense foam, and the straps are riveted, which goes through to the front, so its solid and durable. Paint job isn't bad and my kid absolutely loves it. Great value for the price. Could even be altered for most larp rule set with little effort.
