I did LOTS of on-line research on alternative down duvets. I had specific criteria.....100% cotton, queen size of 90 x 90 (to fit into my new 90 x 90 cotton duvet cover), alternative down, and less than $100. So many of the duvets are now made with a microfiber cover, which I didn't want - because I don't think they allow for air circulation, like cotton does. This duvet had everything I wanted, along with mostly positive reviews, so I ordered it. All I have to say is.....fantastic. For me, it's absolutely perfect. Yes, there is a slight smell after opening it from its package - but after leaving it spread out for 24 hours, it's almost gone. Yes, there's a slight crunchiness to it but after two days of sleeping under it and fluffing it out in the morning, I can already feel that disappear.I highly recommend the purchase of a duvet cover for this wonderful duvet. I discovered years ago that I prefer sleeping without a flat sheet. It's such a hassle to deal with making the bed in the morning. With a duvet cover, there is no need for a flat sheet. All I have to do is simply fluff out the covered duvet, toss on the quilted coverlet, and be on my way. I purchased a 100% cotton, zipper closure duvet cover on Amazon for $30 - and it's amazing. It keeps the duvet clean and is incredibly soft.This is one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon....couldn't be happier.

This comforter is perfect for the duvet I also ordered from Amazon. The comforter is very warm and soft and thick and just comfy. For the price, the cotton cover is perfect.

I researched all the comforters on Amazon and this was the best quality for the price and held true to its description and other customer reviews. Thank you for the craftsmanship and quality.

This is a very soft, and comfortable duvet! It came packaged nicely, and after letting it rest on the bed it fluffed up in about 2 hours. It is nice and warm for us, and we keep our house at 67F at night. The quality appears to be very good, and the separate compartments appear to be what we were looking for to avoid filling bunch later. So far we are very happy with the purchase.Things to note, I have only had this on my bed for one night. I did not wash it before using, which i normally never do with purchased items, but there are NO washing instructions for this bedding. I assume we will have to dry clean. Also, we have a queen bed and purchased the queen size (90x90). On our bed the edges of the comforter come down to the bottom of our mattress, NOT the bottom of the box spring that the photo shows. If you want to cover your box spring as shown in the picture, buy a size up! We have no issues with this because of the style of our bed that hides the box spring.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have purchased one of these for all of us. I bought a nice quality goose down comforter at Bloomingdales for our king size bed and I purchased another queen down comforter from the Marriott store who loves their bedding for one of the kids - both a lot more expensive. I read the reviews and thought I would try this for my other child. I love it and so does he. It's lightweight, nice, softcover and the ties to hold it in place were perfect. You would have no idea this isn't really down it's so soft. We live in the midwest so it gets cold. It's warm enough in winter and fall. Not sure about summer yet but no complaints on warmer fall nights.

I am the type of Amazon shopper who thoroughly researches an amazon product prior to purchasing. As many of you can relate, I spend a great deal of time reading reviews and looking over photos fellow amazon customs have posted in order to make sure the product I am purchasing is worth it. When I have a product in mind, like this duvet, I review about 10 similar products over a period of a few days before settling on the one I believe is best for my needs. That said, I ended up buying two duvets (same size) from this seller and I couldn't wait for it to arrive! Sadly, once I received my package I was severely disappointed. The first duvet I opened arrived STAINED (see photos). I was, and still am, absolutely disgusted. Moving on to opening the second duvet, I prayed I would not have a similar situation on my hands... unfortunately I was wrong. Upon opening this duvet package I made sure to spend extra time scanning for stains due to my previous experience. Upon scanning I did not find any stains but what I did find was a damaged product in the form of what I can only describe as pilling sheets (see photos attached). At this point I was quite upset since now I had to repackage these duvets in order to return them (which is a PAIN I'm sure anyone who has ever rolled up a sleeping bag will understand). As I am returning these products I can not attest to the fluffiness of these duvets since I did not allow them to fully expand but they do feel lightweight and soft.NOTE: The photos attached show the duvet with the pilling and an up-close photo of the duvet with the stain and then a view of the stained duvet from afar (duvet folded in photo; not fully open)

This comforter feels so good! Soft, warm and cozy! Not too hot in the winter time; it’s just right. The size is perfect for my king size bed. I was looking for a comforter that covers the sides and the foot of the bed and this one did it. I recommend this one for a most pleasurable sleep.

This comforter has the same amount of polyester fiberfill as the Amazon's choice less expensive model they cost $49 which I also purchased and we'll be putting in the guest room. The only thing you're getting for your extra money is a hundred percent cotton cover. To me it was worth the price because I prefer the feel of real Cotton to a polyester microfiber cover. If it's not a big deal to you then, buy the less expensive comforter. Neither one is this thick or cushy as the heavyweight down alternative comforters you find at the department stores. These are more like medium weight compared to the department store comforters. I actually prefer the medium weight to a heavy so I will be perfectly satisfied with this comforter. So again, you get what you pay for.
