Fabric Merchants Cotton Stretch Jersey Knit Solid Black, Fabric by the Yard

I need to order more! This fabric is so soft. I make chemo caps and this is not only soft, lightweight, but fashionable.

It’s the perfect cloth for sewing my two layer masks. It’s not too thick and not too thin and has a slight stretch and also very soft. Will be very comfy on the face. But it was covered with some sort of sparkly organza fabric dust when it arrive. I had to go outside to shake it out and it was not easy to come off. Seller needs to clean the dust off the table before cutting a new fabric.

I ordered a yard of this fabric to make gussets for underwear I wanted to make, but after feeling how breathable and lightweight this fabric is, along with the little bit of stretch it gives, I almost want to order more to make more underwear out of this fabric. The color is nice, the fabric is very soft. I performed a lighter test to make sure it was 100% cotton, and it passed the test. It didn't melt, but it caught fire (synthetics will melt).It is thin, so it wouldn't be great to make a sole garment out of (i.e. a shirt or a skirt without an undershirt or shorts), and definitely not a mask without a filter.

Had to wash it b4 I used had some kind of pet hair dog cat hairs all over it kinda gross . Material is good tho I washed it and lint brushed it.

This is perfect for my headwraps! Its thick and stretchy! I cant wait to buy more

Used this fabric for pjs. Love the comfort but was extremely difficult to work with once I prewashed it.

Material is too thin to work with on a sewing machine. Ended up doubling the fabric to use on the sewing project. Glad extra material was ordered since I had to double it to use on a shirt project.

It was soft before I washed it and even softer after. Loved snuggling with it. But it was a little bit thinner than I expected. I can see through it a little. It's nice and I'm using for arts and crafts.
