It is not very easy to assemble and takes so time. The assembly sheets are just pictures and is not the easiest thing to figure out. You have to have a power drill to assemble this. After it is assembled, it is great. It is sturdy and look very nice.

Take everyone's review and combine them together and it will sum up this piece. Yes assembly takes a while but instructions are labeled well and it's not hard just time consuming. Yes it's pressed wood and it's $100, don't expect maple. Although pressed wood this piece is constructed really well and all holes lined up. If I had a gripe it would be that it's just sits really low. Kind of feels like it's meant for kids. If you can live with that then don't hesitate it's made really well.

The bench is beautiful and the look is very modern and functional for my entryway. It took me about 2.5 hours to build, and I also did an inventory check of everything prior to building, just to make sure nothing was missing. The instructions are not the best but I find them a bit more descriptive than most IKEA instructions. There are a few lines of instruction accompanying the pictures.The quality is what you would expect for affordable furniture, since it is particleboard. There were some cosmetic flaws as shown in my photo, but they are not too visible. I assume this is probably from shipping.My only major concern is that the four legs are plastic and hollow. It’s already a hefty piece of furniture weighing in at 45 - 50lbs by itself. It would concern me if someone over 200lbs were to plop down on it.Otherwise I’m pretty content, and I’ve received nice compliments. I paid $91 for this and I wouldn’t pay more for this given the materials and the plastic legs.

This item looks amazing and feels so sturdy. I needed somewhere to sit and take off my heavy work boots by my door. I am 6 feet tall and comfortably fit in this seat for its purpose. I use the draws for mixed change bowl and to empty my pockets. I 100% recommend this item.

The instructions weren’t that easy to follow and I am missing the screws for the drawer and some for legs.. had I not already unboxed it’s too big to slep to UPS.. I just won’t sit in it.. disappointed

Just finished assembling this shoe bench. For now, I'm giving it 5 stars as everything seemed to fit well together and there weren't any imperfections.Well see how well it holds up with use and I'll update accordingly.Some notes:- The legs are hollow plastic, though they seem to take the weight well.- It's made of pressed wood- If you've assembled IKEA furniture before, you shouldn't have an issue with this. I'd say this is a notch or two above the MALM IKEA line in terms of quality and likeness. The pressed wood is denser than that line.- Really like the drawer functionality.

This unit went together easily and works beautifully in our small business office. We like the look, size and quality. It is a great value.

I knew it was small when I ordered. It's very time consuming and difficult to assemble.To qualify: I've installed and commissioned hundreds of high tech equipment in industry. 25 years in Maintenance with an Engineering degree.They shorted me two screws, I had that covered. It's a 2 hour process to assemble, for the indoctrinated, with tools. Good luck fastening the seat.Like 2020, would not reccomend

This is one of the worst products I have ever ordered! Pieces were not labeled. It was like putting a jigsaw puzzle together. Missing hardware as well. Once completed, bench is sturdy which is the only good thing I can say.

They need to improve the instructions that came with this its so bad, it took me and my husband hours to build this for something this small

Very disappointed in quality for the price I paid. Made of particle board, legs are thin plastic so may not stand up. Directions questionable. Parts and hardware not labelled. If I had not put this together, I would be sending it back.
