This is a lovely little bath! It attached to my porch railing easily, and (after about a week) the birds love it! No one's taken a bath yet, but they use it for a drink all the time. Honestly I think the bath is what ultimately made them figure out the bird feeder on my porch!I can't speak to how well it will do over time with the sun, but I will say that while it's fairly easy to unclip from the base, it's been sturdy enough to withstand 50 mph gusts from the Santa Ana winds. It is a bit too small for the little solar powered fountains you see everywhere (you'll just end up watering your porch and emptying the bath), it works just fine without one.

I wanted a bird bath that would clamp securely to my deck railing without damaging it. This one works great and the birds love it. I like that the bath easily pops out of the frame for cleaning but stays in place even in high winds.

The media could not be loaded. Attracts lots of feathered friends. Attaches easily but measure your deck or fence rail to make sure it will clamp properly. Plastic dish releases quickly to clean or replenish water, daily if needed. Placed a rock inside for sure footing, and birds seem to like standing on it. Only wish it was a bit larger. Tried adding a solar fountain, but too much water sprayed out off bath on breezy days. Works great alone though and happy with purchase.

Just what I needed for my bird bath on my deck. I needed one with real adjustable clamps since the deck railing is 6 in. In height and 3 in with. This is perfect and as described. I applied it to the back side if the rail and it fit!! I was complete with nothing missing or broken. It sits tight and secured. I added a smaller plate with water and it's all good. Looks great, good price and no leakage of water. Can be used as a feeder too or a bird bath. Thank you whoever created this !!!!!! Get you one!! The clamp is very adjustable for most rails.

This bird bath is fantastic. It's easy to set up, easy to fill, easy to clean, and most importantly of all, the birds absolutely love it. I highly recommend putting a small, solar fountain in it with a nozzle that doesn't spray, just bubbles up in a single stream like a bubbler. That is what I did and the chickadees love it! Several come at the same time in the evening to play and take a bath. One morning I found a chickadee laying on the solar fountain in this bird bath and was sound asleep--and stayed asleep for 30 minutes.This bird bath has brought me more joy than I ever imagined. For such a low price, I highly recommend.

This installs easily. Is sturdy. And attractive

I used to work with a songbird rehabilitator. I got a pretty good understanding of birds' needs, as we raised MANY from hatchlings (or even eggs) to maturity and release. Birds prefer a bath that will accommodate them from wingtip to wingtip. Some prefer a certain depth, some don't care as much. This birdbath is 30 seconds to install, and very stable. However, its size will accommodate only birds the size of sparrows or smaller. The bottom of the bath is deeply cupped, so only birds who will stand in 2-3" of water with a wingspan of about 8-10" will be happy with it. I get lots of sparrows at my feeders; they haven't gone near it yet. Ovenbirds could fit, but haven't tried. Grey catbirds are not picky about depth, but haven't showed any interest. I have it in a fairly shady spot near trees so they could dry off/preen safely in the branches. No dice. No takers. It's ironic, as I also see lots of starlings, who bathe as often as they possibly can, they love baths - no interest at all. So - I guess it's a great product, but I don't think birds agree with this ratings system. Hence the two stars off.
