Don’t know., but probably not. I was a hairdresser and used many mousse, they can help, like conditioners but not stope it.

Q: Is this men's or women's? i am looking for a solid mousse, however i don't want my hair to smell like a fruit bowl

It is used on both men and women in the salon I frequent. And no fruit bowl smell! (lol) I believe you can actually smell it before purchasing when taking off the lid.
