Royal King Congress Show Halter

Like that it was a very affordable show halter with a Congress cut, which is hard to come by in this price category. The leather is nothing to be impressed by. It is very stiff and cracked immediately when unbuckling the halter. Has good adjustments and nice fit. Looks much pricier from a distance. Overall, satisified with the halter.

This is a good halter. I got it because I know my horse will grow out of it so I didn’t wanna spend to much on a halter. Shipping was fast came with lead. Leather is a bit stiff but if you condition it then it gets a little soft.

Looked fairly good but broke within 15 mins of normal use. Not leather at all .

You get what you pay for. Terrible quality.

This is really manufactured by Tough One - an Indian company. It's a cheap knock off of the better known circle y, billy cook, etc brands- and it looks like a knock off. Leather is stiff and silver is easily bendable, cheap and looks like a tin reproduction of silver. Good enough to use for lower-level shows. If you are planning on using long term or for shows like Congress, it would be better to invest in different brand by scouring tack sales for a used version.

Good for local schooling shows and teaching horses the halter and showmanship routines. Looks nice from a distance but up close you can see that the silver isn't really. For the price, you can't beat it.

A nice starter show halter for the price. At our trainers' suggestion we purchased a separate, longer leather lead as the supplied/included lead was too short. Only have used it at one show so far, so can't comment on how it will hold up. Edit- still looks great 5+ years and many shows later!
