3 stars for budget friendly and cpsc certification
Pros: budget friendly, material used feels sturdy and adequate (the shell and styrofoam seem close to the same as triple 8 sweat saver), comes with an adjuster on the back for better fit, removable pads, has a classic skateboard helmet look, and it is cpsc certified bicycle helmet. The thickness of the shell and styrofoam padding looks on par with the triple 8 sweat saver and the shell looks slightly thicker.Cons: not astm certified for skate safety. No sweat saver padding. Because its not astm certified theres a warning label that says to replace after its been involved in an accident and to replace if an impact has occured.Durability: undetermined. Only used about 4 times but has been tossed around over a few months and the material is holding up. The pads feel pretty standard. I've not yet fell on my head wearing this but I believe the folks who said have and this has saved them. I wish I had worn it when I fell backwards in a pool with no helmet leading me to have a slight concussion.Sizing: I don't agree with their sizing chart. I measure at a 22" or 56cm. Based on size chart I should be a medium 19.7-22". I bought a small red color (18.1-19.7") and medium grey color. The small size fits and looks way better on me than the medium. Because its smaller it doesn't feel that much unbalanced on my head. I also dont feel like I'm sacrificing any protection going smaller. Triple 8 sweat saver measures (s/m 21-22.5" or 53-57cm). The triple 8 s/m size feels smaller than the medium size jbm and closer to the size of a small jbm.The medium size fits thanks to the adjuster. It feels significantly bigger than the small, doesn't look as good on me (head looks like a mushroom), and my head feels unbalanced due to its size. It feels like a bulky tank helmet. Perhaps this would be better suited for folks with a lot of hair that measure in the medium size.Depending on your measurement and how much hair you have I would go for the smaller size category. In my case I am a 2.3" size difference going to a small. Only way you'll know for sure is by trying it outComparison to the triple 8 sweat saver:The t8 right off the bat fits very snug on me and doesnt move. Its quite comfortable more than jbm. I also like the look of it slightly better than the jbm. T8 has dual cert and sweat saver pads with additional thicker pad linings. T8 doesnt have an adjuster so if it doesnt fit well for you the only range you get is with the pads where as jbms adjuster has more range for fit.Verdict: good budget helmet if you dont care about dual cert or astm certification. Helmet whether certified or not will almost always be better than no helmet. However, because this helmet is not astm certified, the budget nature of it to me works against it. If I had to replace it after every impact, I would be spending the same if not more for a helmet that is astm certified for multiple impacts. Use at your own risk if it has had a single impact before. The other issue I have despite these certifications is, for the laymans person it is hard to tell the difference in quality between this and the dual certified triple 8 sweat saver helmet. Yes the certification tells you with certainty one can take multiple impacts but looking at the jbm I feel like it could pass a multiple impact test.If JBM is confident in their helmet they should get dual certified cpsc and astm this helmet. That would certainly give this helmet an edge over its competitors. Kind of sus that they dont although even worse 187 killer helmet has zero certifications and is sold in the same price range as triple 8 and protec.

Light and well aerated. I totally recommend!!!
Finally found a helmet for my needs! This is not a good reference for all but I use this helmet for riding my motorcycle in town. I live in the Dominican Republic and while most Dominican do not wear helmets when riding. The police will not stop local people but they do stop Expats/Visitors and they will ticket you. Riding with a regular motorcycle helmet in town was really painful since the weather ranges between the 30 and 40 degrees here so I decided to get this helmet. The adjustable back strap to tighten the helmet is awesome. It is well ventilated and doesn't kick back in the wind even with my GoPro set on top. It is light and well fabricated....I just love it...Well done JBM!!!

Great!
Not too big so no "mushroom" head, which is what I was worried about. Pictures and sizes are accurate and I use it to ride to and from my university on my electric scooter!

Great budget helmet
Same level of protection, fraction of the cost of higher end helmets & close enough in terms of style

Ideal for child safety.
Had these helmets now since Xmas. lightweight but very well built so ideal for kids and adults alike. Come with there own drawstring bag which is ideal for storage. Like i said we wrr now a month in to using them and youngest has fallen a couple of times without causing herself any damage unlike many on the market these days this helmet fits snugly and will arrest a fall. Hence the reason I have given this helmet a five out of five.

Comes up big Ladies!
I bought this online as no helmets to be found in local shops. It is huge. It fits if I wear a beanie underneath so OK for winter cycling, but I had to buy another helmet for inline skating in the summer heat! 4 stars as sizing information not good, also v thin foam linings & no extra linings for size adjustment.

Disappointing
Bought in Dec-16, one of the straps has already come off the helmet (Apr-17). Not particularly heavy use.
